Truffle tower is a small & cute yet beautiful place which has recently opened it's doors to people of Hyderabad. Truffle is a European dessert which is the costliest amongst all the desserts in the world. The name of this cafe is inspired by this dessert. The owner Aditya has started this cafe out of his passion. He has planned the menu in a perfect way so that no one would get disappointed. Basically, this is a house converted into a pin-interest cafe. They have both indoor & outdoor seating as well ,so that there won't be any problem for the customers . This place has cute & small plants arranged on each shelf. They also have board games & books to read if you wanna spend some time here. . We started with Jalapeno cheese poppers which were served in a jar which is quite unsual. Because, usually cheese balls are served in a plate..but this is something different which I've encountered here. They were crispy on the outside & creamy, cheesy from inside. These are worth a try..!! Chicken tower sandwich was the other dish we ordered. It is made up of three layers which comprises of Chicken layer, egg -layer & Veggies layer. They've used some amazing sauces over it which has given it a peculiar taste. But,the second portion of it was very dry & the amount of cheese they had put was very very less. . Moving on to shakes, we have tried mud pie jar which was impeccable which the right proportion of chocolate & milk. I wanna try this again & again. Raspberry lemonade was one thing in the shakes section which disappointed me a lot. The raspberry flavor was lacked in it & the lemon zest was added more into it. But,the brownie blast balanced everything. This is a blend of brownie mix & milk which was served hot, thick & with lots of smashed brownies in it. Please do give it a try when you are here. Who doesn't love to have this brownie blast by a side while reading a book. I'm sure you are gonna order this item for 2-3 times😅. My another favorite item was chicken piccata which are normal chicken strips with lots of spices on it & accompanied with mashed potatoes. Squeeze some lime juice on it & have it . Your mind is definitely gonna blow. That was sooooooooooooooooooo perfect. . Thanks, truffle tower . Regards,...
Read moreBeen here on a Saturday Evening! The entrance was quite confusing as this cafe is located inside an apartment kind of building.
Once you get inside, it's beautiful and calm. There's a lawn seating area with Swing chairs and couches. I couldn't enjoy the seating because it started raining.
Seating inside was comfortable, they've a few board games available, wall decors etc. However, there was so much content Missing in the ambience inside. Even the bakery/cakes display looked so dull.
Ordered, Fish and chips, Chicken Fingers, Spicy Paradise Pizza and Mango Mocktails from their Summer Drinks Menu.
Fish and Chips was pricy but yeah quantity and and portion was really good. Fish Fillet was too tasty, soft and Juicy. The outer layer wasn't much crispy, it was coming off from the fillet and I felt it was a bit salty. Loved the Sauces that it came with. I think it was a regular Mayo and Green Sauce tasted like peanuts+mints.
Chicken Fingers - Absolutely loved them! Perfectly made, crispier on the outside and juicy inside. But quantity was too low for me! Only 5 Fingers for ₹260, felt unreasonable.
I also wanted to order Cheese Garlic Bread, but before ordering I enquired about the quantity. The guy said it'll be 3 portions only. That was again disappointing. I mean, that's so less, whew! Hence I didn't order that.
Mango Mocktail - Since I like that flavour a lot, I really loved it. It was fizzy and refreshing along with all those savouries on my table.
Spicy Paradise Pizza - Requested the guy to advise chef to make the crust crunchy and a lil hard. What I received was great in looks, no doubt I loved the veggy toppings, spices and everything, but the base disappointed me. The crust was not crunchy at all, even though I requested. It was more like a soft thin bread/Roti topped with cheese and veggies!
Overall I liked this place, I'll visit them once again to spend my evening! Quantity is an issue which I'd like to put it as a feedback, I hope they do...
