UDIPI’S Upahar Madhapur — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Update: ordered porotta and curry. And they gave me bindi masala instead of kuruma/curry. Atleast try to inform before if certain things are not available. Ordered musambi juice and got a juice with no sugar. Voila. Never expected this kind of improvement!

I would've rated this restaurant as five star if it was just for the quality of food. but the unnecessary waiting time is horrible. even after giving the order ticket to the guy on the self serve counter. it took them more than 30 minutes to give me just a masala dosa. and the dosa making guy was roaming around and wasn't even caring to make it. and I don't even understand the guy who got my ticket was saying it is in the making multiple time where I cant see anything is made behind him. all the ingredients were present on the place itself and exactly after 30 mins when one more guy ordered dosa they cared to make mine. I don't understand what is that kind of behavior. as we are running on a busy schedule in the morning and you guys are purposefully making it late again. 2 stars for the cleanliness, quality and transparency of...

Food was not that good. I had food in many Udipi uphar in Hyderabad. But this one was the worst one.

Chutney served with the idli and dosa was very liquid and smelled so bad. The taste was also feeling like it got rotten. I just don't understand why these people are not taking care of food. Food is the major factor of keeping one healthy and can make one sick.

People will go to Tiffin centers so that they will have something healthiest option among all other food restaurants. Because this things are going to be made fresh.

Dosa batter was also very old and caught up very sour taste. Restaurants like Udipi, where they have their reputation of name, should take care of all...

Excellent experience and taste..

1. They have an open kitchen which is everytime maintained clean and neat.

2. Service is very fast and the hygiene maintained by staff.

3 Ensures to wear gloves all the time to avoid direct food contact.

4. They provide the good accompaniments ( Chutney/sambar ), no acidic feeling unlike many other places where I had. They use only coconut for chutney.

5. Not very spicy and burn stomach but subtle taste with a hint of spice.

6. Earlier I used to order only through delivery but I started visiting here regularly now to dine in.

** The only challenge here is with the vehicle parking. Very narrow lane and difficult to park...
