An Absolute Disaster of a Restaurant – Avoid at All Costs

If I could give this place zero stars, I would but google isn’t giving me an option. This wasn’t just a bad dining experience – it was an outright scam posing as a restaurant.

Let’s start with the most shocking part: there is no actual kitchen. That’s right – no visible kitchen, no signs of cooking, and certainly no chefs in sight. When we asked where the food was being prepared, the staff gave vague, dismissive answers that only raised more suspicion. One could argue the food might be coming from someone’s microwave in the back alley – and frankly, the taste supports that theory.

Speaking of food, it was horrendous. Bland, cold, suspiciously packaged, and clearly not fresh. Everything we ordered looked like it had been sitting out for hours or possibly days. The menu had fancy descriptions, but the reality was closer to gas station leftovers.

The staff were shockingly unprofessional – rude, inattentive, and totally disinterested in basic service. One staff member even argued with us when questioned about the cold food they served.

The whole place felt like a dysfunctional mess – poorly managed, unsanitary, and completely lacking in anything resembling hospitality. It honestly makes you wonder how it's still open.

To anyone considering eating here: don’t eat. There are better options literally anywhere else, including your own kitchen or even skipping a meal. This place is a disgrace to the concept of a cafe...

This Place Is a Joke (And Not a Funny One)

I honestly don’t know how this place is even allowed to call itself a restaurant. If you’re looking for a good meal, a clean table, or even just basic human kindness—stay far away from here.

First of all, there’s no kitchen. Yep, you read that right. No kitchen. No chefs. No cooking smells. No signs of actual food being made anywhere. I’m pretty sure the food comes from a microwave in a back room—or maybe from a frozen box someone brought from home.

The food itself? Horrible. Cold, tasteless, and looks like it was thrown together without even trying. Nothing was fresh, and most of it didn’t match what was on the menu. It honestly felt like they were just guessing what we ordered and hoping we’d eat it anyway.

And the staff? Rude, slow, and clearly didn’t care about anything. They acted like we were bothering them just by showing up. One of them even rolled their eyes when we asked for water. Yes, water.

The whole place is just a mess. Dirty tables, no organization, weird smells—it feels like it’s run by people who have never worked in a restaurant before. Actually, it feels like it’s run by people who don’t even like food.

If you want a laugh (and a stomachache), maybe give it a try. But if you actually want to eat something decent or be treated like a person, do yourself a favor and go literally...

Worst Restaurant Ever – Please Don’t Waste Your Money

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place really tested my patience. To be honest, I have no idea how they are even calling it a restaurant.

First of all, there is no proper kitchen. No chefs, no cooking, nothing. I didn’t see or hear any sign of real food being prepared. It looked more like someone brought the food from outside and just served it. I don’t know if they are heating it in microwave or what, but it definitely didn’t feel fresh or homemade.

The food quality was very poor. Everything was cold, tasteless, and not even matching the menu pictures. We ordered 3 items, and all were disappointing. Even street food is much better than this.

The staff behaviour was very bad. They were not interested in serving properly, didn’t care about customers, and were giving rude replies. We had to ask 3 times just for water. Nobody was listening, and there was total confusion among them.

The whole place looks very unorganised and badly managed. Tables were not clean, no proper seating arrangement, and overall it felt like nobody knows what they are doing. Honestly, I have seen better service at roadside dhabas.

Please, if you value your money and your time, don’t go here. Better to eat at home or any normal place nearby. This is not a real restaurant—looks more like a...

Blue Door Cafe: A Hidden Gem in Jaipur Nestled behind the iconic Hawa Mahal, Blue Door Cafe is a delightful surprise. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance. The cafe boasts a charming blend of indoor and outdoor seating, allowing you to choose your perfect spot. The staff at Blue Door Cafe is exceptionally friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Their recommendations were spot on, and their service was impeccable. The food is another highlight. Every dish we tried was a flavor explosion. From the aromatic curries to the delectable desserts, everything was cooked to perfection. It's evident that the chefs take pride in their craft. What's more, we noticed a diverse crowd, including many foreigners, enjoying the cafe's charm. It's clearly a popular spot for both locals and travelers. If you're looking for a place to relax, savor delicious food, and soak in the Jaipur atmosphere, Blue Door Cafe is an absolute must-visit.

Blue Door Cafe in Jaipur close to the City Palace was an interesting experience. The seating is spread out across multiple floors including a rooftop, and we visited on a Friday afternoon. We got the thalis—Wadood and Queen thalis—a vegetarian assortment of curries, daal, chapati and salad. They were well-cooked and tasted delicious. The rooftop seating was good enough despite there being nothing to write home about the views from the rooftop. Being an interracial couple, we were hoping to engage more with the owner. But the owner just kept talking to my Caucasian partner and completely ignored me. Oh well. Restroom looked like it could use some work. They’ve more food options including Italian and traditional Indian dishes. The interior decor is stellar and the location is quite conspicuous. Overall, I recommend Blue Door Cafe for their food.

Love the coffee here at blue door! It was strong and the quality of the taste was good. The grilled cheese was alright. I had a better one somewhere else so i had a comparison. It was still good! I think they put some herbs on the cheese which in my opinion made the taste better. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. He was recommending some places to go and even reminded me about the tuktuk drivers. There was another staff that came to me and wanted me to leave a review when i havent finished everything yet. When i said i didnt have internet he wanted me to connect with him. I was firm and said i will leave a review after. I didn't really appreciate that. If he didnt do that i would have given a 5 star because i liked the coffee and that made me enjoy my breakfast. Overall, good place to go.
