Opera wasn't just a meal; it was an experience for the senses. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere transported me straight to a cozy trattoria in Italy. The aroma of wood-fired pizzas and simmering sauces filled the air, whetting my appetite for the culinary delights to come.
My journey began with a decadent hot chocolate, its rich, velvety texture warming me from the inside out. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, neither cloying nor overpowering, making it the ideal prelude to the symphony of flavors that followed.
The lotus stem with edamame burrata starter was a revelation. The lotus stem, thinly sliced and tempura fried, offered a delightful textural contrast to the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth burrata. The edamame added a touch of earthiness, tying all the elements together beautifully. Each bite was an explosion of textures and flavors, leaving me wanting more. The sprinkle of peri peri was like the cherry on the cake.
The star of the show, however, was the garganelli pasta in parma rosa sauce. The house-made garganelli was perfectly shaped and cooked
Opera wasn't just about the food, though. The owners would personally greet you, they were attentive and friendly, the staff knowledgeable and passionate about the cuisine. They made me feel welcome and valued, adding another layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
As I left the restaurant, feeling contented and satiated, I knew I had witnessed something special. Opera Everyday is more than just an Italian restaurant; it's a celebration of good food, warm hospitality, and the art of creating unforgettable memories. It's a place where every day feels like an opera, and the food is the star...
Read moreA Delightful Breakfast Affair Last weekend, a group of friends and I decided to indulge in a leisurely breakfast.
We chose Opera a charming eatery known for its delectable dishes and cozy ambiance.
Upon arrival, we were immediately captivated by the restaurant's inviting decor. The warm, inviting atmosphere, coupled with soft background music, created the perfect setting for a relaxed meal.
The limited parking space was a minor inconvenience, but the complimentary parking was a thoughtful gesture.
We began our meal with a classic order of toast, a simple yet comforting choice. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the butter was rich and creamy. Next up was the much-anticipated Egg Benedict. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, the English muffins were fluffy, and the Hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful.
To satisfy our heartier cravings, we also ordered the Chicken Lasagna. The layers of tender pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese were simply divine. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors. Overall, our breakfast experience at Opera was truly enjoyable.
The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was impeccable. We'll definitely be returning to explore more of their...
Read moreI bit into this pizza expecting a carnivorous celebration. What I got was a lukewarm funeral for flavor.
The base? Floppy. Like it gave up on life halfway through the oven. The crust had all the char of a burnt love letter, but none of the heat.
And the meat—oh god, the meat. You’d think something called “Death by Meat” would hit you with flavor like a mafia hit. Instead, I was assaulted by sad slivers of lifeless sausage, ham that tasted like betrayal, and pepperoni so greasy it felt like it was crying.
The cheese was clinging to hope, barely melted, like it knew it was part of a disaster but was trying to hold it together for the kids.
Every bite was a eulogy to what could have been: rich, smoky, indulgent. Instead, I was served the edible equivalent of a heavy sigh. Even the tomato sauce had no will to live—watery, passive, like it just wanted to disappear under all that existential meat.
If this pizza were a person, it’d be the guy at the party who tells you he peaked in high school… and then cries when you don’t ask about his band.
Final Verdict: 1/5 I would only recommend it to my worst enemy. Or someone I want to emotionally exhaust with a...
