I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're visiting from another country. There are quite a few things that might feel off or uncomfortable. I live in the U.S. and came here a month ago based on a recommendation. Upon arrival, I asked one of the staff members (I guess there were just two servers one of them was outside) if I could sit somewhere quiet or in a corner where I could work on my laptop. He asked if anyone else would be joining me, and I said, "Maybe one more person." Without offering any options or explanations, he flatly said no and wouldn’t seat me inside. The only option was outside, no ac and it was hot. Whether it was a communication barrier or just a complete lack of expression and courtesy, it came off as rude. There was no air conditioning outside, and the indoor area was completely empty—no other guests at all.
A more professional and welcoming response would’ve been: “You're welcome to sit here inside, but the private cabins are already reserved for groups of five or more,” and then guide me to an available table inside in the general seating area. But his blunt “no” felt more like “you’re not welcome here.” He seemed completely disengaged and expressionless.
Also, if you’re alone, don’t expect anyone to come to you for taking orders—you’ll need to go ask yourself.
Ironically, when the person I was supposed to meet arrived, he took me straight to one of those cabins meant for larger groups. When I asked about it, he casually said, “Mam They know me well, don’t worry about it. I also know the owner close enough” That comment just added insult to injury and made the whole experience feel even more dismissive and biased in my mind. Overall, the experience was unwelcoming, and far from customer-friendly. Not even a smile. Stay away from this one, there are thousand of fabulous cafes out...
Read moreOriginally we liked this place a lot. The food was good and the staff was very courteous. We did 3 birthdays here and a date night with friends so you can say we are a repeat customer here.
Recently I went for my birthday here and the experience was not so upto the mark, so giving a 1 star rating as I hope they will work on it and improve. (then this will be back to 5)
The picture is not always black and white and I'll share both the viewpoints so that you can paint your own picture.
We were playing our own guitar as my friend is a well known music artist which the other guests were enjoying for free and with claps appreciating, but the staff was not so much enjoying it, so they could've gestured or told us to stop which we would have gladly obliged.
The first set of servings were soggy to our utter dismay which they promptly replaced.
We wanted regular water in subsequent servings but they still gave us bottled water although at mrp but we didn't want it still the serving staff said it's ok which they later blatantly refused at the time of bill payment.
Lastly, they were fighting with us over these petty issues which we didn't want to as we were only pointing out what they did wrong and listened to what we did wrong so as not to ruin the atmosphere, although not much hostilities were exchanged we feel they shouldn't have raised their voices which my friend responded in kind as a natural reaction.
Being in the hospitality industry they should have been courteous even when telling us they didn't like some of our unruly behavior.
I wouldn't visiting again anytime soon as I'm not a big fan of eating outside and this whole epilogue ruined...
Read moreThis restaurant is located near ‘Banna ji’, another reference for those who don’t know Banna ji, the lamp post is the same place where ‘Mr Bean’s’ cafe was located. Near Crystal palm. The location is prime and one cannot miss this place. Built with mostly wooden and village theme, the interior is exact opposite of the exterior sitting. The interior gives a classy vibe with antique artwork. It is more lit and calmer with proper couch sitting. The counter is here with desserts to crave for. They have clean washrooms in the backside, separate for men and women. The outer sitting area is built in a greener space with garden sitting. There’s a pathway with palm trees on both sides. This outer space can easily cater around 30-35 packs. There are stairs which takes you to the first floor mostly for private parties. Food menu again is built with wooden frames, giving vibes of a food join right in the middle of a forest. Food is great here. As told, aglio olio was yummy. Lasagne was also good. This place was almost completely occupied on Sunday. And the promoters are also working on developing it further. If you visit here at night, I would recommend that you sit inside if you want to click some cool pictures with antique stuff and lightening. Rest if the weather is supportive,...
