“A Hidden Gem for Mutton Lovers”

Nestled just off the main road, Tawook is the kind of place that feels like a discovery—a hidden gem where you immediately feel at home. During my recent visit, I tried the mutton biryani and mutton changezi, and I can say without exaggeration that the flavors were out of this world! The preparation was exceptionally neat and clean, and every bite felt thoughtfully crafted. The mutton was tender, bursting with authentic spices, and prepared with a level of care that’s often rare to find.

While the service can sometimes be a bit laid-back, there’s a comforting familiarity when Uncle and Auntie, who seem to be the owners, are around. They take care of you as if you were one of their own, making you feel like family. This personalized warmth turned an already delightful meal into one of the sweetest dining experiences I’ve had. It’s a feeling that brings me back, and I’ve already ordered from them twice since my first visit! The mutton biryani has become a favorite in our family, especially for my father, who’s quite particular about his biryani.

Tawook doesn’t pretend to be a high-end restaurant, yet it’s far from your typical local spot. The place is clean, cozy, and perfectly positioned—close to the main road but still offering a peaceful dining environment. It’s simple and unpretentious, with a homely atmosphere that complements the comfort of Indian dishes so well.

If you’re in search of great Indian food, especially mutton dishes, Tawook is the place to go. The flavors, the warmth, and the overall experience make it a must-visit. Highly...

This place is one of the best places to have Lebanese food in Jaipur. It’s in the lane next to old Mr. Beans, Which is now Lamp Post. Entry is from the lane only.

As you enter you will find a cosy place to relish Lebanese Food. You will find artwork and paintings on walls of Lebanese food This place is a hidden gem in jaipur

Amazing Food. Have Been there many times and one of my favourite place to eat in jaipur. The best part is not just the tasty food they serve but also that the owners are so friendly and checks personally for each order makes the experience amazing every time we go.

Regarding the Food. Food is great. In my multiple visits I have tried almost everything they serve. And all the dishes are very tasteful and made with love.

The place is hygienic and neat and clean The washrooms are clean Washrooms are common for Tawook and Lamp Post. They also have interconnected way to go in Lamp Post Cafe also and they have the Lamppost menu at tawook also in case you want any dish from lamp post.

Regarding Furniture : They have used Iron Base Tables with Solid Wood Table Tops and for Chairs they have used Iron Helix Chairs with wooden top on seat. We also manufacture the same, if required you can contact us at Tarun Industries.

Regarding Parking : Parking is an issue in night, somewhat difficult to find so you have to find a spot nearby and can park on road or in street.

kids friendliness : it’s very much kids friendly as they have separate chairs for kids.

Verdict : if you are a Lebanese food lover, you...

Excellent Food. A must go place.

Gone twice at the new place on Sardar Patel Marg, twin cafe with the recently opened Lampost. Food is wonderful, portions are huge. The Shami kebabs, the various mutton preparations in the main course, Nihari, Korma, Stew and the Biryani. Gilauti, which used to be good, has been discontinued as people in Jaipur were not consuming it and they had to give it away, as mutton perishes fast.

Except that some of the oil perhaps could be removed from the kebabs, by placing them on paper towels, or just use less oil. The curries could have been spicier, maybe we should have told them, that we like mutton which is spicy, garam masala hot.

They also have Lebanese food.

Desserts were limited. Shared with lampost, the Brownies were great but chocolate cheese cake slice, was a poor expression of what it should be.

Service is good. Seating is simple, love the wrought iron, wooden...
