Strings is a fantastic spot for a fun night out in Jaipur! While it's located in a basement (so keep that in mind), it offers a lot to enjoy.

Set in a quiet street in the residential area of Hathroi, this place is a great option for people looking to chill. The décor shows an appreciation for old-school pop music stars, both Western and Indian. The place isn't very big but is tastefully decorated, and has really comfortable seating and a TV tuned to football. There's a smoking room and they serve hookahs as well. You can view the menu at the valet's before entering. He isn't too familiar with the items though. I went there on a Sunday night and the place was not even halfway full. Which is why, the service time was really astounding, they are really slow! The music is good though. I had a Leaf, a rum-based cocktail, surprisingly mixed with betel leaves. It was pretty good. I didn't like the complimentary crisps served with it though. The Cajun spiced chicken with herb rice gave me mixed feelings. The chicken was clearly undercooked. The rice didn't have one distinct flavor. The sauce wasn't Cajun, it was more like the gravy used in butter chicken, but it was pretty good.
