It was my maiden attempt walking into Brown town cafe the other day after purchasing some Christmas goodies from Brown Bunch bakery. It was real fun munching on some of tasty snacks they have on their menu. Its a global menu list hosting delicacies from all over the world. Brown Town's menu is a well thought over and carefully crafted full course meal collection with some unique flavours that is not so easy to find in any other restaurants in Jamshedpur. I and my kid thoroughly enjoyed our time at Brown town cafe munching some Italian, Lebanese, Continental, Oriental, American, Thai that you only get in Metro Cities or Abroad. You for sure only appreciate how the flavours of Biryani and Butter Chicken kindle your old memories of old Delhi. For a change, guys try something new apart from Indian and Chinese. Life has many things to offer and don't miss out to treat yourselves with global cuisines right from appetizers, snacks, main course, desserts, confectionery, drinks and more. As such Brown Town satiated my food cravings, I followed on to host a special weekend lunch party for my friends and family with customised Menu from Brown Town at my place. Guess what? All of us from kids to teenagers to middle aged to senior citizens loved the food, professionalism, attitude and kindness of Brown Town crew members and ofcourse the Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Indian, Cakes, Baklava preparation and service was Top Notch! One of the best weekends of...
Read moreBrown Town Café in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, left much to be desired in terms of its food offerings. Despite high expectations, the dishes served fell short. The flavors were lackluster and the quality didn’t match the steep prices. Each bite was a reminder of the discrepancy between the cost and the culinary experience, leaving diners feeling underwhelmed and questioning the value for money. However, it wasn't all negative. The service at Brown Town Café was commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to requests, adding a touch of professionalism that slightly elevated the overall experience. Plates were presented with care, making the meals visually appealing even if the taste didn’t quite hit the mark. What truly stood out was the ambiance. Contrary to the disappointing food, the atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant. The café’s interior was well-designed, offering a cozy and inviting space that made for a comfortable dining experience. Whether it was the warm lighting, tasteful décor, or the overall layout, the setting provided a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of Bistupur. In conclusion, while Brown Town Café’s food might not justify the price, the excellent service and delightful ambiance make it a decent spot for a casual hangout. For those prioritizing atmosphere over cuisine, it might still be...
Read moreRemember when you are visiting this place, you have to shell out a lot of money as prices are on the steeper side.
We went there twice (Aug 10 and Sept 3rd) and from my two time experience i can say it's a pretty decent cafeteria with good responsive staff but they do tend to get slow when the restro gets crowded.
Nachos was very tasty . BBQ chicken was good but too saucy. Cheese chicken bread too was very tasty but wayy too overpriced for just 3 pieces. Chicken stronganoff was yummy and quite heavy. European sizzler was pricey again with just 3 sticks of chicken and rice enough for two.
In my first visit had tried a coffee whose name i forgot but it was served in a tiny cup which was disappointing for the price it was. 2nd time i ordered special hot chocolate and this one was in great quantity though again priced similar to Starbucks.
Overall, this cafe will cater to only the rich section of jsr public. Definitely not for aam janta . These kind of expensive cafes work well in big cities, not in towns. But still on a weekend you will find this cafe full...
