Restaurant Review: Bella Italia
Introduction: Located in the heart of downtown, Bella Italia offers a cozy escape with its charming Italian decor and authentic cuisine. As a lover of Italian food, I was eager to see if this place lived up to its reputation.
Ambiance: The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with rustic wooden tables, soft lighting, and a beautiful mural depicting a serene Italian countryside. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.
Service: From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our server, Maria, was friendly, attentive, and well-versed in the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured our glasses were never empty.
Food: We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful, with perfectly toasted bread. For the main course, I had the seafood linguine, which was a delightful mix of tender shrimp, mussels, and calamari in a rich, garlic-infused tomato sauce. My partner opted for the classic margherita pizza, which had a perfect balance of cheese, tomato, and basil on a crispy, thin crust. For dessert, the tiramisu was a heavenly end to our meal, with layers of creamy mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers.
Value: While Bella Italia is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. They also offer a great lunch special that includes an appetizer, main course, and drink at a very reasonable price.
Overall Experience: Bella Italia exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, excellent service, and charming ambiance. It’s a gem in the city and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. We will definitely be back.

Read moreA perfect start to my new year with some yummy food and a perfect ambiance. I really liked the seating arrangement here the only problem was i went during the peak hours so had to wait a bit. Now talking about the food, what we ordered was a chicken cream soup, barbeque pizza, sahibs special peri peri chicken, thin sliced beef pasta, lasagna, brownie with ice cream sizzler and some drinks (I'm not sure about the correct name as I'm bad at remembering them). My personal favourite among them was sahibs special peri peri chicken, ohh i just loved it, if you are a spicy food lover this one is a must try. And if you are a fan of creamy white sauce then defenitly go for the soup it tasted yummy. Now the barbecue pizza was also loaded with a lot of cheese topping and perfectly balanced sauce and I really liked it, a must try. Lasagna was a good try but salt was a bit high this time but worth trying. The only dish i didn't like was the pasta, specially the beef was very chewy and it was hard to even slice it, also they were really big beef pieces (of which I'm not a big fan). They served spaghetti instead of pasta with read sauce and it tasted ok ok for me, so not gonna recommend it. But the brownie with ice cream was too yummy, the brownie was so soft and chocolatey I just loved it, and the vanilla ice cream complemented well with the brownie so i would say it's a must try if you love brownie with ice sizzler. So if you haven't visited this place yet please give it a shot, I'm sure you would love the ambiance (do visit in the evenings to enjoy the perfect vibe) and the food here. And also you can reserve your seats to avoid the wait time. So happy...
Read moreI recently visited Sahibs Grill Kitchen, a place I used to frequent over the years. However, I was disappointed to find that it had downsized to only offering outdoor dining, with another business occupying the inside space. Notably, they had removed pizzas from their menu.
Starting with the positives, the cream of chicken soup was exceptional, truly out of this world. Moving on to the peri-peri chicken skewers, they had a slightly sweet taste, but the spicy coating seemed undercooked, giving it a raw chili powder flavor. However, the chicken itself was juicy and enjoyable.
My order of steak, cooked to medium, came as a surprise. It was more of an Indian version, with an exceedingly thin beef piece that couldn't be cooked to a true medium without becoming rubbery. Nevertheless, the sauce accompanying it was quite good. I didn't quite appreciate the taste of the "steak," having experienced authentic ones before.
Towards the end of my meal, I tried the passionfruit boba, which was a letdown. The boba was undercooked, and the passionfruit flavor was overshadowed by excessive squishy cream. The grape juice I had was decent.
In terms of value, I found Sahibs Grill Kitchen to be on the pricey side considering the portion sizes. However, it could serve as a one-time dining experience. The downsized space and removal of pizza from the menu were notable changes, and the unconventional "steak" left something to be desired. Despite the hits and misses, the cream of chicken soup was a standout, making it worth a visit...
