Been there on 2nd July 2024 (Tuesday night) based on a localites suggession as I did not had time to refer reviews. I am a foodie and believe me after the first bit of my order I felt immediately I made a mistake.

Cons: Service team need to align to latest trend but they were not curious and hurry in taking all the orders together or slserving hapsardiously. Believe when we were served may be the last item of order they were asking shall we give finger bowl. Angel fish and the other one slices was almost 40% less thick then I ate in other restaurants, The taste was yak. Either lollypop or chicken gravy the thickness of chickens was double then other places, so it was not cooked properly inside. Angle fish was size of 25 pages book against 100pages book. Freshelness: Fish, chicken, lollypop gravy etc.. was not at all fresh. It was stored for long time and served. They r so much canjoos they they did not even served with onion or cucumber. Fish has less than once slice of ring onion. Ordered Butter kulcha but they gave roti, same was rebaked as kulcha and served. First time in my 35 years of foodie experience, I heard they will not serve birayani rice and we have to take birayani again. From street to star hotels, without birayani, I have got birayani rice everywhere. Table height is good for 5.8 feet and above and definitely not for kids. My kids had to keep the plate on their lap and eat. Difficult to locate as the entry is very small and no lift for senior citizens or who cannot climb steps. Parking has to be nearby as there is no parking here. Prices may b high.

Pros: The ambiance is ok not that great, In few places light is insufficient and in few good. Located in prime place

The mix vegetable curry was a basic yet satisfying accompaniment, rounding out the meal nicely.

One notable downside was the prolonged waiting time and slow service. While the food quality was commendable, the delay in serving it can be frustrating. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant has a separate bar area, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available under one roof. The option to pack food on demand is a convenient feature for those looking to take leftovers home.

I was pleased to have a gift certificate worth ₹250 from another establishment, which I could redeem at Anmol Restaurant. This added to the overall positive experience.

In summary, Anmol Restaurant is a place to savor delicious food in a clean environment. However, the service could use improvement to make the dining experience more enjoyable. These people were serving one of the best food in Shivamogga.. But recently I visited the place with my 7 year old daughter and wife , Next to my table was served with Beer bottles and my daughter asked what was that..?? Just left the place with having only starters and before leaving thought of informing the management that Alcohol should be served in Bar section of same restaurant and not in the regular dining area. The person sitting in the cash table outrightly told me that he is Worried only about Business and not with the Ethics and all..
