Pawan Ice Cream is a vegetarian restaurant that serves a variety of North Indian dishes. I recently visited the restaurant after a long time, and I was pleased to find that the food still tasted just as good as I remembered it. In particular, I highly recommend the Mushroom pepper fry, Gobi Manchurian, and veg kholapuri, which were all absolutely delicious.

The food is not too of the line tasty but is definitely a good option in Shivamogga. Jewel Rock is tough to navigate to and Royal Orchid is an expensive option so Pawan Ice Cream is a decent choice for the budget traveller. Staff are helpful. The hotel is on main road (Nehru road) and in prime area. The hotel is on first floor.
