What a fantastic way to spend your Sunday with the delicious brunch at Bangalore Brewing Company, located in Electronic City.
This open air rooftop space is absolutely fantastic, extremely sanitized and safe. There is extreme care taken to ensure safety of customers, and it shows and I felt safe dining here with my family.
You have multiple options to choose from the Sunday brunch with variable pricing based on what you choose to drink along with the delicious spread. I should say, the buffet is minimal, but covers all the basics and actually more. There were five non-vegetarian starters served at the table, out of which two are actually from a live barbecue on wheels parked right next to your table, for you to grill and grab. There was a beautiful fish tikka and hariyali chicken on the live grills, wonderfully marinated and perfectly cooked, right off the barbecue grill. Two more non-vegetarian grills, a superb fish and a fantastic chicken was served to us from the live kitchen counter that also serves vegetarian grills and fresh crispy dosas. The last of the starter that was served from the kitchen was the spicy wings, which we loved, and asked for a few extra servings.
The three non-vegetarian mains with a Chicken Dum Biryani, Mangsho or Mutton Kosha, and a Chicken Chettinad. While I loved all the non-vegetarian mains, I must mention how great the Chicken Chettinad was. I haven’t had a Chicken Chettinad from Karaikudi, from where it is from, but this version here in Blr Brew Co, definitely took me back to recollection some of the best version from rustic restaurants in Chennai, a marvelous dish and I would come back anyday just for this on the menu, hightly recommended.
The vegetarian grills were equally delightful, I loved the beautifully soft marinated and well cooked paneer chunks on the live grill and the Brocoli kebab was something extremely unique and I absolutely loved that a litte more.
The Onion and Garlic pulao was something that went perfectly well with the dal, it is something very simple but needs to be celebrated as much as the rest of the stars in the menu
The curd rice is definitely worth a mention, it was beautifully made with broken rice or maybe a millet, extremely cooling, served in mini steel buckets, very adorable and creamy delicious.
The desserts were minimal, but great, I actually loved the bold attempt of the basil panna cotta, it was bold, almost savory but a fantastic try. The Red Velvet was perfect, in terms of sugar, I loved the rest of the desserts that were on offer as well, and my daughter though missed having a serving of ice cream on the dessert menu that is something that could have been included, especially with the onset of summer.
They do have live pottery making that you can participate, and a live fresh popcorn counter for kids of all ages to indulge. A beautiful Sunday brunch in a perfectly green outdoor setting in a roof top, I loved the place, the food, and the drinks, a must visit for a...

They have fire torches in every corner giving the place a Roman War Arena look in the evening while you get drunk in their Craft Beers and Cocktails and satiate your tastebuds with some awesome appetizers. It's located at the Terrace of the Village Hypermarket in E.city has a separate area with Dance Floor and DJ. They have multiple beers available on tap Hefeweizen Belgian Wit Hazy IPA Stout Strong Blonde - This was my choice as the taste was subtle yet flavourful.
They have a unique way of serving Old Fashioned Cocktail with a huge ice-cube and BLR Brewing stamped on it. The other drinks that I would suggest would be Cuban Affair, their classic Virgin Mojitos and the Guava Punch.
Coming to Starters these would be my picks for anyone visiting the place: Jalapeno & Cheese Croquettes - lots of cheese and perfectly cooked to make sure it's a delight to the eyes. Mini Vada Pav - The classic vadapav with a twist, comes in cute servings of two mini pavs and is absolutely delicious. Tandoori Stuffed Mushroom - A delightful dish for the vegetarians, a must order for people who love mushrooms!
Ajwaini Fish Tikka - Nicely marinated and succulently cooked Fish Tikka Peri peri murg tikka - The right amount of peri peri to ensure you don't regret the spice and flavourful enough to satiate your tastebuds. Beet Ka Murg tikka - An offbeat dish, beetroot infused, turns the chicken red, cooked perfectly and the beetroot influence has a amazing effect on Chicken. Butter Garlic Prawns Tandoori Prawns Both the prawns dishes are a must try if you love prawns, tandoori prawns were cooked just right and the butter garlic was a classy dish! Chicken Drunken Wings - Loved these, fried and cooked to perfection, you gotta try this along with some craft beers.
For main course, if you actually reach there...lol, you can try their pizzas and you'll be happy to see they do come with a generous amount of toppings.

Read moreThe Breweries are spreading their tentacles across Bengaluru and that is one of the best reason to celebrate for a beer lover to get chug a beer. The BLR brewery is the newest brewery at the Electronic city to be tried out. I caught up with my friends at BLR for lunch on a lazy Sunday and loved their beer and food. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good. It is has a nice terrace establishment with a simple and elegant ambience. This gives a nice view of the locality. The seating arrangements are good. They can accommodate around 150-200pax. I personally loved the portraits of the barmen.
The service at the restaurant is pretty good too. The crew members are very courteous and commendable.
BLR has a variety of cocktails and appetisers apart from the brewed beer. I loved their seafood appetisers which had simple presentation but one of the best to taste. I personally loved the butter garlic prawns, they were soft and tasted good. This would definitely be the one to order when you are at the BLR. They also had tandoori prawns which tasted good. Another seafood starter that we had were the Ajwani fish tikka which was very good. It was marinated well with the spices and ginger garlic paste. The chicken ghee roast was one of the best appetisers in the non-veg. It reminded the essence of the authentic Mangalorean cuisine. Beet ka murg tikka was something which I tasted for the first time. It was a nice combination of beetroot juice and chicken. The marination was perfect. Malabar chicken was the Kerala cuisine which was good too. The other chicken starters that were good were Andhra green chilly chicken, a typical Andhra food which was very spicy and the chicken drunken wings.
We were so full with the starters that literally had no place for the main course. We had ordered non-veg pizza which was pretty good.
All in all BLR brewing Co. is definitely a good place to hang out at the electronic city where crafted beers, cocktails are good. I loved the hazy IPA and the Belgian Wit. One of the best terrace dining that is available in...
