This place now only runs because of its Popularity since ages, but if you do think to pay a visit , I'd say think twice, not at all hygienic, cleaning isn't done at all and there are huge rats playing around as though it is a pet store or a rescue center. If the hotel were you served isn't clean, imagine how to food is being cooked, rats exiting kitchen does seem like health issue. And if the owner is actually doing good business he should consider replacing the dirty tiles. It's best suited for people who get drunk and don't notice the food or their surrounding. Doesn't deserve a star at all....

I used be regular to costa hotel but since 3 months they have changed the management now a lot of bengal staff who have no clue of mangalorean dishes. The food does not look good and tasty , the kitchen is dirty and so are the staff. many people come here for authentic mangalorean dishes which is not available. Dont be fooled you will be served with chili powder with meat, the hotel manager who seem to in his 20's knows only one language and is rude who looks drunk all day. I will never go this hotel till they improve . A inspection by the corporation health department...

One of the oldest hotels in Mangalore. Everyone mangy must have visited here atleast once in Thier lifetime. We get mangalorian food, Chinese and traditional Konkani cuisine Here. This hotel used to be one of the hotspots. But now in recent days I believe they have failed to maintain that name. Mainly because of the change of taste in food and the hygiene levels have dropped drastically. Only Lunch times it gets busy but other than that I haven't seen anyone spending time here.
