LX Brasserie — Restaurant in Karnataka

I've been here many times and I very had good food and slow but great service too. But when I recently came here late night at 10pm no one came to take order for 15 minutes even though the restaurant was less than half occupied. In the mean time Ithought we can look at the menu to decide and asked a head staff if I can take the menu from the counter. To which he replied "You can go and wait in your seat. Either you can wait or you can leave. If you want you can leave" (Exact translation from kannada) I was shocked to reply anything and asked my friends to go somewhere else because there was no gaurantee of good service that night. LX Brasserie is hands down one of THE BEST restaurants in the south of India.

The seafood is super fresh and made with the most exotic blend of spices, while the meat is ever so succulent and prepared with utmost care. No matter what dish they make, from local fare to global desserts – the taste is always spot-on and keeps us going back for seconds.

The staff are the most helpful and kind, without the usual hovering which makes us terribly uncomfortable.

LX Brasserie is located bang center of Udupi city, which is also very close Malpe beach and Manipal town. They also cater to outdoor events, and the manager Dinesh deserves special mention for going out of his way to make sure every aspect of our culinary experience is nothing short of impeccable.

Security guard is worst of all kind and Poor adminstration. They don't know how to behave with customer. Best avoid this place. There is a manager looks like a cancer survivor (don't know his name) wanted to report him. I am describing him with his appearance not to insult him . So that his boss can take action. he is the worst and a low life. Better you sack these kind of people if you ever want to grow your business.
