Located bit interior, but Google map shows accurate location.... Good temple. Nearly 23 feet shanishwara idol here You can buy oil for 10Rs and do abhisheka on top of the idol.... Bannanje Shani Temple is located very near to opposite jayalaxmi silks road OR Hotel Swadisht Bannanje take a left turn it's very small road it's very difficult for TT or large vehicles, because of small road .... Speciality of this temple it is 23 ft You can do a oil abisheka by climbing stairs to fullfill your wishes. Timings > Monday to Friday & Sunday 7.00 Am to 11.30 Am 3.30 PM To 7.30 pm Saturday > 6.00 Am To 9.30 PM

Very calm and peaceful temple. The idol is such an attraction. Everytime I visit Udupi this is the must go temple for me. The 23 feet tall statue is such a treat to pray and seek blessings from. These are many sevas to offer to Lord Shani. The temple is quite interior to commute, you can get an auto nearby Bannanje busstop to visit the temple. Ranga pooje will be there on all the Saturday evenings in the temple. One of the must visit temples in Udupi

23 Ft Sri Shani Murti, devotees allowed to climb the steps and offer oil abhishek to Sri Shani. Gives lot of peace and happiness, As i hugged Shanidev murthi i had an experience such a bliss that i cant explain in words, devotees can try themselves.The smiling Shanidev murthi assures you of his complete grace and protection. A silent place, priest are very helpful, they guide you if you are coming for first time to temple.

This place is little unknown in tourist fraternity mostly locals visit the place. It has huge monolithic statue of shani dev. Unlike shani signapur in Maharashtra this place is not crowded at all I visited this temple on a Saturday and to my utter surprise only I handful of people was present. I personally request everyone to visit this place when in Udupi.

Nice temple dedicated to Lord shanaishwara. It's a 23 feet height single stone statue. It is believed that what ever we offer to Lord Shani it should be in 23. The Speciality is that we can offer sesame oil(ಎಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ) abhisheka to idol by climbing up. Nice place still to be developed.
