This hotel is located in the heart of the city and may be the only hotel that serves good food nearby the busstand! That's why It is very crowded in the afternoon, you might find it very difficult to find a seat for you. When we had visited the hotel, we tried tomato soup, butter naan, paneer butter masala, paneer biriyani and fruits salad. Naan and paneer butter masala was very very tasty. I really liked it. Price was also moderate. Hotel is hygeinic and Well maintained. Staffs are very polite and friendly, serves you efficiently. Overall a very good hotel Once again, Butter naan and paneer butter masala are the must try items here 🤩

I recently dined at Shanthi Sagar in Udupi, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Gobi Manchurian, ghee rice, one porotta, masala dosa, puri kuruma, and falooda, along with tea and coffee. The food was flavorful and satisfying, with each dish bringing something special to the table. While the waiter who served us was not particularly attentive, the rest of the staff had a good attitude and were quite helpful. Their friendliness contributed positively to the dining experience. If you’re in Udupi and looking for a solid meal, I would recommend giving Shanthi Sagar a try!

A nice vegetarian hotel located very close to central bus stand. Tasty food. Well maintained. Courteous staff My seventh visit to this hotel and am happy about the quality of food and also the vareities. One should not miss this restaurant when you visit Udupi. Food taste is good and serving size is normal. Nice ambiance; be prepared to wait as they take some time to serve. I mostly eat chats item. Every item is good in taste as well as hygiene. Serving style and the suppliers are good. I like having chats item here.

We, a group of 8, ordered together. They brought all the orders except mine and said that all the orders are done. They literally forgot about my order even though it was the 1st. We are just back from 10k run and I am so hungry. I am writing this review in the restaurant whilst waittfor my food. Food might be good but the service is awful. My friends finished their meal and their plates were taken as well. Please don't come here if you are extremely hungry, you are bound to get more frustrated.

I had a delightful experience! I started with the manchow soup, which had a great flavor and was the perfect. The masala papad was crisp and packed with flavor. The highlight for me was the mushroom Schezwan fried rice, it had the right balance of spice and was absolutely delicious. To top it off, the limbu soda was refreshing and a great palate cleanser. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for a tasty and enjoyable meal.

One of the old hotels of Udupi located qt the center of the city with pure vegetarian food since long time. This place is the goto hotels for travelers who wait late night for busses to different cities. Food quality and taste is not same like it was before. I used to enjoy food here before but recently when I visited it wasn't that great. If you want the normal thali and other proper regional food then this place is recommended otherwise avoid it.
