Hotel Sriram Residency — Hotel in Karnataka

Overall good experience for first time visitors to Udipi. The hotel is at the center location next to Srikrishna temple which is just 300mts far. Bus stand, auto stand, taxi stand, restaurants in walkable distance. It's 3 star hotel suitable for family members or couple travelers. I took a deluxe a/c room, found through MMT, a reasonable rate. Although, there can be other cheaper lodging close next to the temple, but this wasn't a bad option either. It had all required & basic amenities & others on demand & chargable if not included at the time of booking like extra bed. The hotel also allowed to cloak my luggage for a day free of cost, after my checkout without having the trouble of carrying it around. Although,there are payable luggage rooms at the temple & the bus stand. It's not a fancy hotel but the giveb provisions were decent & clean enough. Hotel Sriram Residency is located at the prime place of Udupi. It's a pet friendly, couple friendly hotel. There are restaurant and bar as well in the hotel itself.

I have stayed there for 4 days. Opted for both AC and Non AC rooms. Rooms are spacious and clean. The service is really good. You can avail the room service anytime.

The food prices are moderate and the tastes were decent. You can choose from the restaurant menu and call the room service to bring it to your room (if you don't want to sit in the restaurant).

The Udupi Krishna temple is in 5 minutes walkable distance. Various food joints and restaurants are out there to try. The main bus stand is also close to the hotel.

The only con I felt was the lighting of the room. The tubelight of the Non AC room was so dull that it became really difficult to get ready.

The staff is very courteous, the price is at the right sweet spot & the hotel is centrally located. Few things I would like to highlight is that the room we stayed(normal room with fan) was not kept clean in terms of the room walls are all stains, the 2seater sofa was not clean-guess they have not dusted or cleaned from the time they have placed it in the room, the curtains, windows, wardrobe, small cupboard, both the main door & a toilet door are dusty with stains, the bed head rest is full of dust.
