And there you go, Manipal got a fine dine family veg restaurant with a variety of delicious food.. The ambience and the interior of the restaurant is top notch 👌. Which gives proper south indian restaurant feel with classical music playing in the background. You won't believe the price is really reasonable for the amazing food you get there.. The service is really great and the staff behaves professionally with you.. Food review I ordered a masala dosa and that was amazingly delicious and perfectly cooked. It was wow crispy. I just loved it.. Mysore masala dosa.. I can't even describe.. It was perfectly flavoured and the spices were properly maintained with the taste of masala. It was awesome. Buns was fresh and very soft. And the khurma to dip it in was thick and yes it gives loads of flavours in your mouth . Deduction of 1 star for rude behaviour of a waiter when i visited this place 3rd time.

One of the good restaurants at a prime convinient location, but not that great with taste. - had ordered ghee rice and was surprised to find raw onions in the dish - had ordered ragda pattice chat, the dish served didn't look any different than masala Puri. Sent the dish back to confirm, was the served the same thing again along with a stern gesture that that is infact what ragda pattice is supposed to look like :') (refer photo) - service is not customer friendly, they are mostly busy among themselves. Hard to get their attention to order a second serving or even to ask them for the bill. - avoid going to the ac dining in the first floor between 3-4 pm. They started their mopping and cleaning of the entire floor while we were still having our meal. Forced ourselves to leave because ours was the only table left to be moved and cleaned under :')

I had breakfast and dinner from here same day.The food they served and the attitude from serving people (waiters) was very good at morning 🌄🌅 But when I came for dinner I opted for AC restaurant which is situated in first floor,The food was really good but the attitude of service completely changed,they just showed a rude attitude while ordering food.When I ordered paneer tikka with garlic butter naan at the right moment he told us (in a rude manner) they will not serve extra chutney and he put a special expression in his face and said that "you should order curry for this we will not serve any thing extra chutney".I got surprised after hearing his words. Any way i finished food as early as possible and ran away from there 😅,don't know whether he will do something else because his attitude is changing time to time.But the food was really good

A proper place to have breakfast, evening snacks. Not really sure about the lunch. I had been there to have breakfast and it was pretty crowded, although we did get space to sit. The cafe also has a sweet shop within. The place has ample space to sit on the ground floor and 1st floor. The food that we tried was Ragi manni, cheese masala dosa, idli vada, bisibele baath, Mysore masala dosa and beverages tea, coffee and lemon soda. The food tasted great, the sides like chutney was good but the sambar was very diluted and not up to mark. Ragi manni was good, tasted great with great texture. Cheese masala dosa was amazing and would be loved by the cheese lovers. Bisibele baath lost its credibility, as it did not live up to its name.. it wasn't bisi (hot). Overall a good time spent with family with a great service.

I have visited this place twice, and during my first visit, I tried their sev puri. Unfortunately, I found it to be extremely disappointing. The taste was terrible, and it was excessively dry. I even requested some chat pani, but they refused to provide it. During my second visit for lunch, I had a much better experience with the food. The quality was good, and I liked the meal. However, I must mention that the service was incredibly slow, which became quite frustrating. The delay in receiving our orders made us feel stressed, and it affected our overall enjoyment of the meal. It's important for them to improve their service efficiency to ensure a more satisfying dining experience for their customers.

The iconic place of Manipal! Bhature is pricy for the taste. Parottas are decent here. The dosas are a must have! Try their lovely pudi masala dose, mysore masala dosa, cheese masala dosa. Their open masala dosa is a nice option as well. Wouldn't recommend their rava dosa that well. Idlis and Pongal are decent as well with the latter having a nice pop of coconut and peas. Their maddhur vadas are very nice too. Seasoned perfectly and an ideal evening snack. Do try their filter coffee which has the proper proportion of coffee, milk, froth and sugar. But the service part isn't consistent and need some attention, some staffs are very friendly and suggest you a variety of options and some don't.
