Tucked away in the heart of Mysuruâs Vani Vilas Mohalla, SIHI, Patisserie and Boulangerie feels like a closely held secret, beckoning those who wander down its quiet lane. Entering SIHI is like stepping into a world where passion, craft, and nature blend to produce a uniquely charming experienceâthis is no ordinary cafĂ© but a true treasure trove, as if the spirit of Mysore had distilled itself into one place. At its core, SIHI embraces an ethos of artistry and authenticity, making it a haven for coffee connoisseurs with an appreciation for the finer things.
Here, the coffee is a ritual, a song of beans and brew handled by baristas who live and breathe their craft. They arenât just skilled; theyâre truly masters in the art of making a perfect americano. Every cup is crafted with scientific precision and a gentle reverence for the process, transforming the espresso machine into a sacred instrument of alchemy. The baristas at SIHI have perfected a level of deftness and care that seems inseparable from the machine itselfâan extension of their attachment to the brew.
The beans are something truly special: rare, elusive arabica sourced from a hidden micro-lot tucked away in the misty embrace of the Western Ghats. Their journey from the plantation to your cup brings with it the very essence of nature, steeped in fruity, mellow notes that evoke a morning dew-kissed valley and the earthy richness of the Indian landscape. Lightly roasted to coax out their natural flavors, these beans whisper rather than shout, creating a cup that is both grounded and ethereal, a drink that sings without adornment.
Presented in delightful ceramic crockery without the distraction of added sweetness, each sip of SIHIâs americano draws you inward, deepening the connection to your surroundings. With every lingering taste, the cityâs languid rhythm begins to flow through you. SIHI doesnât just serve coffeeâit offers a serene space for self-discovery, inviting you to savor not only the labor of nature but the quiet, mystical beauty of...
Read moreWell places that are worth giving 5 star reviews are hard to come by these days... I just tried this place randomly and... They have this thing called slow cooked chicken sandwich. They say the chicken is baked for 6 hours. It was really good. I ate the sandwich and did not feel like eating anything for the entire day, although it did not look like much and was only 2 pieces and single layered. Or maybe something was wrong with my stomach that day. I don't know how try it out definitely worth trying, I would recommend to my friends. đ I do want to talk more about this sandwich but... Let's get on to other things.
The coffee was quite bitter but not like chikori bitter(bitter is supposed to be good). Not bad, but I have other preference for coffee place.
No smoking environment. It's got a a few tress some which are coconut. Good atmosphere. Especially when it's not busy. Comfortable furniture, friendly furniture. Not really a fan of having jelly stones for a ground or to walk on. There are very few plug points, but it could be possible for you to work here on your laptop. It's secluded as in away from mainroad. And not on a busy street(residential area). It's got all natural green shade with sheet to shelter you from rain etc. There are plenty of things inside. And bakery and pies, cookies, books,
When all things said my conclusion:- You can give this place a try đ...

SIHI is our go to place to either start our day or to relax. They offer a range of food from their extensive savory, pastry, and drinks menu. Ali and his team put a lot of attention and detail into the food they prepare. SIHI is constantly reinventing and raising the bar for cafes in Mysore. Amazing quality for such reasonable prices.
