Subway City Centre Mall — Restaurant in Karnataka

This outlet doesn't provide any invoice for the orders. I experienced the same at their Fiza mall outlet too. I ordered a Veggie delite with cheese slice. The price at this outlet was ₹219 whereas the other outlet charged ₹198 for the same. I think this is their new strategy to manipulate the bill and avoid paying GST. Recently Subway has changed their menu in India and prices have been hiked. They now charge extra for the cheese slice, which was earlier free. They have further added more Indian variety of subs which you can order directly and they will use their customised way of preparation for those subs. Moreover they have discontinued Turkey meat and Marinara sauce. Really dissatisfied with Subway in India.

Old Review: This Subway outlet opened recently after the previous two outlets in Bharath Mall & Kankanady were closed in Mangaluru. Finally after close to 3 years, Kudla gets a new Subway. This is a small outlet with limited staff members and the waiting times will be very long if you happen to visit during peak hours. The store is clean and the staff are seen wearing masks. Subway just hit rock bottom in customer service! Today's visit was an absolute disaster. I ordered a footlong Veggie Delight and asked for Parmesan Oregano or Roasted Garlic bread, but they had neither and shoved whole wheat at me without even asking. Fine, I let it slide. Then, they skimped on the veggies like they were gold nuggets. When I requested a bit of spice, the sauce tyrant behind the counter refused to add more than three sauces and outright rejected my plea for just a tad more. Fed up, I asked to cancel my order, and what did they do? Threw the entire sub into the trash, right in front of me! Are you kidding me? It's like they enjoy disrespecting paying customers. Subway needs a reality check and a lesson in basic human decency. Either the franchise owner is clueless or just doesn't care about hiring decent staff. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other options out there that actually value their customers and know how to serve...

I tried their 6 inch Turkey chicken slice with multi-grain bread. It is alright. This place has a healthy multi-grain bread option. They have like 6 varieties of sauce. They have the usual vegetable topping you can choose from. I say take sandwiches that have chunks, pieces or nuggets of veg or chicken stuff, otherwise you are gonna end up tasting just the bread and vegetables. This place is expensive to be honest, I mean I can get a full stomach filling chicken biriyani with huge chicken pieces for the same price, but you wanna eat a healthy sandwich and don't mind the price, this is the best place for you.
