TaoBao Mysore — Restaurant in Karnataka

I visited this place for dinner, and despite the limited seating area, we waited 45 minutes for a table since it was the weekend. Upon entering, the restaurant’s decor made you feel as though you were in Korea, with boards and illustrations all in Korean. I was impressed by the menu, and I believe this is the only place in Mysore offering authentic Korean food.

We ordered Veg Spicy Bibimbap K-noodles, Kimchi Kimbap, Cheese Chilli Burst & Tapioca Cheese and Corn Dimsums, Green Apple and Passion Fruit So-Jucha, and the showstopper— their Signature Hot Pot. Everything tasted great, and we opted for all vegetarian options. The owner recommended the Signature Hot Pot, and we absolutely loved it. The hot pot featured both sweet and spicy broths with veggies, dimsums, and spices—it was absolutely drool-worthy.

On 1st look, the momos had the filling spilling out and none were sealed. On top of it stale food was served.On tasting one momo itself I asked the manager / owner to check if it's spoilt. The chef tasted a momo from our plate and said that's how it tastes. They gave the remaining 3 out of 5 momos back to us. We didn't even touch those as there was rancid taste and smell from the food. They gave 50% discount on momos. I had stomach upset after eating the 1st momo and ramen. The ramen was not cooked properly and we left even that. I think the reviews here are all fake. The Table, spoons and bowls were also sticky and not cleaned properly.
