We went to THE TASTE OF COORG recently.We went twice for lunch.The food quality is really good, the ambience gives you homely feel , plus it is pocket-friendly. Ideal if you want to eat authentic coorgi food especially non-veg. Aunty prepares and serves food single-handedly.She is very sweet, you will feel as if you are eating at your home. It's a very small eatery , but you can eat your belly full here.Cost for nonveg food for 3 people comes around Rs 750 along with starter. Pepper chicken, chicken biryani, chicken sukka, rice plate , akki roti and neer dosa are to die for.Next time I visit Coorg I will eat lunch only at this place. I love it so much. I placed ordered for 2 Portion of Chilly pork of Rs 160/- each portion .. I was shocked when I saw the The quantity was very very less..just 2 medium size spoon was given .. it was not enough for 1 person also.. when I asked with The owner why the quantity is less..his answer was very very rude..The owner did not offer an apology, nor did he offer any other form of compensation..I found this to be completely unacceptable. Just wanted to drop a quick note about my recent dining experience at your place. Honestly, it was a total letdown. The food was not only gross, but it also made me sick to my stomach—literally. I ended up with some serious tummy troubles, including repeated trips to the bathroom.
