Service: Our dining experience was marred by exceptionally slow service. From the moment we sat down, it took an unusually long time for our order to be taken. The server was not attentive at all; we had to flag down staff multiple times just to get basic necessities like utensils and napkins. The person taking our order was insistent on promoting the kitchen’s leftovers as "specials," which were, unfortunately, stale. This level of service left much to be desired and significantly affected our overall experience.

Food Quality: The quality of the food was well below our expectations, especially considering the hefty price tag. For what we paid, we expected dishes that were at least fresh and flavorful. Instead, we were served food that was poorly prepared and lacked any appeal. It was simply not worth the cost.

Cleanliness: Cleanliness was another major issue. Our table was sticky when we arrived, and the floor around us was littered with food crumbs and used napkins. The entire dining area seemed neglected, with dirty walls and an unkempt atmosphere. It was clear that the area had not been properly cleaned, making for an unpleasant dining environment.

Ambience: To make matters worse, the AC was off, making the restaurant uncomfortably hot. Combined with the dirty surroundings, it created an atmosphere that was far from welcoming.

Suggestions for Improvement:

Improve Service: The staff needs better training to be more attentive and efficient. Basic needs should be met promptly, and servers should focus on customer satisfaction rather than pushing leftover food. Enhance Food Quality: The restaurant should prioritize cooking food properly and serving it at the right temperature to match the prices they charge. Maintain Cleanliness: Regular cleaning of the dining area is crucial. Tables should be wiped down between customers, and the overall cleanliness of the space must be improved. In summary, this dining experience was very disappointing. The service was slow, the food was subpar, the environment was unclean, and the AC being off added to the discomfort. Went with my family ..we tried Golibaje , onion dosa, masala dosa and tuppa dosa…Golibaje was little half cooked ..dosas were ok ok not upto the mark…but one thing I never understood why every hotel in Mangalore makes dosas so huge …after eating just one dosa u won’t be able to eat anything else…and here even Golibaje was very huge…just one humble request please make all items little small in size so that we can enjoy as many variety as possible…and about the service definitely need a floor supervisor because we had to wait for atleast 10 - 15 minutes for our waiter because he just vanished after supplying starters and it was the same situation at other tables too. Also the floor and wash rooms needs some attention the floor was not maintained well and wash room was quiet unhygienic there were some wet napkins and some wrappers on the wash basin counter didn’t even feel like going inside it… been a shivabhag customer (Kadri) since very long time and never had any complaint even their Dosa camp was so good but this one really felt very...

A good restaurant with good floor space. Taste and quality is good. They have a non AC seating area in the ground and first floor. An AC seating area on the first floor with a separate entrance. They also have a private seating area which probably is used for small parties and for big families. Service is quick. We had tried the following. Mutton pepper soup- good taste and spicy. Mutton green roast- super succulent soft mutton chunks with a nice green masala.(quantity was a bit less.) Chicken ghee roast- good tasty masala with decent quantity. Spicy Bbq chicken- nicely done and medium spicy. Mutton kerala biryani- good taste and decent quantity.The mutton was super soft.. Sharjah shake- could have been thicker in consistency. Taste was good. Over all, worth the money paid for tasty food.. Will surely visit again.

They should add more mutton starter items, absence of beef on the menu was a disappointment( expected it as it was a malabar...
