It was with great nostalgia and high hopes that I recently visited "Roshan Di Kulfi" in Karol Bagh—a name once synonymous with taste, tradition, and trust. After a long time, I craved the flavors of old Delhi and decided to relive those memories with a serving of kulfi and aloo tikki. Unfortunately, what I received was a deeply disappointing experience that compels me to share my feedback with utmost sincerity.
I placed my order at the counter and took a seat at a table inside. I politely asked one of the staff members to serve the food. To my utter surprise, his rude and dismissive gesture made me feel as though I was the server and he the customer. Despite the discourtesy, I remained composed and went myself to collect the food.
The aloo tikki I received was far from the iconic street food it is known to be. It lacked both flavor and texture, and whatever it was, it certainly wasn’t what one would expect from a place of such repute. Still hoping for a better impression, I picked up the kulfi — only to be met with an even greater shock.
The kulfi was extremely salty, almost inedible. It's clear that the salt used in the freezing process had seeped into the dessert, ruining its taste entirely. When I approached the counter to share my concern, no one paid attention. There was no apology, no effort at resolution — only indifference.
Roshan Di Kulfi has long thrived on the strength of its name, built by years of goodwill and genuine service. But if current operations continue with this level of negligence, poor hygiene, disrespectful behavior, and lack of quality, I fear the business is heading towards an unfortunate decline. In today’s era, legacy alone cannot sustain a brand — quality, humility, and customer care are essential.
I urge you to wake up before it’s too late. Rebuild what once made this place special — the taste, the hospitality, and the trust of loyal customers. The world is changing fast, and those who ignore their customers today may not have them tomorrow.
Pickpockets steal money, but poor service steals trust — and trust, once lost, rarely returns.
With sincere hopes for improvement, A Long-time Loyal and...

Today was our shopping day. After visiting Dukes and Madans in Karol Bagh, we walked over to Roshan Di Kulfi for lunch. This is a must-stop for us every time we come to Karol Bagh—and we’ve been coming here for years, every trip to India.
It was packed as usual, and we were lucky to get a table. The energy was high, and the service was quick and efficient.
We ordered a spread: – Sooji and atta pani poori – both crisp, perfectly spiced, with tangy water that had just the right amount of heat and sweetness. – Papdi chaat – crunchy, cool, with creamy curd and bursts of pomegranate and masala. – Raj kachori – a massive, crispy shell filled with chutneys, potatoes, and curd. Every bite was a burst of textures. – Chole bhature – fluffy, hot bhaturas and deeply flavorful chole, full of spices and soul. – Fried rice and chowmein – our daughters (5 and 7) are visiting India for the first time and this is the only thing they will eat. We ordered it mostly for them, but it ended up being a hit with all of us. Smoky, well-seasoned, and not oily—just delicious. – Mango falooda – sweet, rich, ice-cold, and refreshing. Topped with slivers of nuts and a scoop of kulfi that felt like the perfect ending to our meal.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions.
Roshan Di Kulfi continues to live up to its legacy. It's a taste of nostalgia, consistency, and warmth in the middle of the busy Karol Bagh market. Highly...
