I recently visited Ameer’s Spoon Restaurant located on MG Road in Thrissur, and I wanted to share some feedback regarding my dining experience.
While I appreciate the effort put into creating a welcoming ambiance, I must admit that I left feeling disappointed with the overall experience. The menu offerings seemed promising, but unfortunately, the execution fell short of expectations.
Specifically, I found the non-Biryani options, particularly the undo-Chinese and Asian dishes, to be lacking in quality and flavor. The taste did not live up to the standards I had hoped for, and it left me feeling unsatisfied with my meal.
However, I must acknowledge that the Biryani offered at your restaurant stood out as a better option compared to the other dishes. It had good flavor and texture, and it was evident that care was taken in its preparation.
Despite the disappointment with certain aspects of the meal, I believe there is potential for improvement. Perhaps focusing on refining the quality and authenticity of the non-Biryani dishes could help elevate the overall dining experience at Ameer’s Spoon Restaurant.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I believe that with some adjustments, your restaurant has the opportunity to thrive and become a go-to destination for culinary enthusiasts in Thrissur.

Read moreCash koduthu kadikuna pattiye vangya pole ayi... the prices are of premium restaurant and experiance they provide cannot be compared even with thatuukada setup. Ambiance is good. ( only good thing)
Disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff ( not all) seemed to be having a bad day, and it reflected in their attitude. No smiles.. lot of anger.. ( may be they didnt get salary.)
We ordered hot and sour chicken soup, chicken biryani, fish curry meals, and veg meals.
The hot and sour soup was extremely spicy, to the point where our lips were burning even from first sip. We immediately asked them to replace it with a milder version atleast for the kids, but they weren't willing to accommodate our request. Although they didn't charge us for the soup in final bill, the service was unpleasant.
The chicken biryani (₹260 approx ) Rice was overcooked, lacked any sort of flavor, and the portion size was small. In my opinion we cannot give more than 120Rs for this biriyani.
The meals (₹ 240 and 270 approx) were overpriced, with too few side dishes. We've had better meals at other restaurants for the reduced price.
Overall, the food was subpar, and the service was unfriendly. May be the chef was on leave. Maybe they should consider google reviews and start taking action. Best wishes...
Read moreVery disappointing customer service. I visited the restaurant along with my family for lunch. We waited for around 15-20 minutes , the table was very messy with the leftover food . We spent somemore time hoping that someone would come and clear the table. Later we went to one of the waiter and requested them to clear the table and since noone acknowledged our request we asked another waiter for the same. Even after 15-20 minutes of wait and multiple requests there was no response from the staff . I dont think I will ever go to this place with very poor customer service. If it was a hectic day in the restaurant ,we expect one of the staff to inform us that there would be a delay in clearing the table or atleast bring us the menu so that we could order meanwhile. So finally we stepped out of the resturant after 30 minutes without ordering anything since no body even tried to take our order or clear the table.
*Additionally we visited during covid ( December 2020) there was no security personal to check the temperature or record customer details as per the...
