This restaurant is located right in the heart of the city, making it a convenient choice for both residents and tourists alike. Its central location allows easy access, whether you’re stopping by during a busy workday or planning a weekend meal with family or friends. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that blends simplicity with comfort — a perfect setting for a relaxed dining experience. The real highlight here, however, is the food. The menu boasts a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes, each prepared with great attention to flavor and freshness. Whether you're craving spicy chicken curry, tender mutton biryani, or perfectly grilled fish, the flavors are consistently rich, authentic, and satisfying. The spices are well-balanced, portions are generous, and the presentation adds an appetizing touch to every plate. It's evident that the kitchen takes pride in serving meals that not only taste great but also offer real value for money. Hygiene is clearly a top priority. The dining area is kept neat and clean, the tables are well-maintained, and even during busy hours, the staff ensures everything remains orderly. The service is friendly and attentive — the staff is quick to respond, courteous, and willing to offer recommendations if you're unsure what to try. One thing to note, though, is the challenge of parking. Due to its prime location in a busy part of the city, finding parking nearby can be a bit of a hassle, especially during lunch and dinner hours. This could be a minor inconvenience for those driving in, but if you're willing to walk a little or use public transportation or a cab, it's well worth the effort. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for non-vegetarian food lovers looking for a clean, well-run restaurant with consistently delicious dishes. Whether you're dining alone, with a partner, or in a group, you're bound to leave satisfied and eager to return.

Such a disappointing Experience at Amma Veedu Family Restaurant_ I recently visited Amma Veedu Family Restaurant, owned by Kishore NK, a Kerala actor, and was shocked by the alarming hygiene standards. The prawn fry I ordered was not cleaned properly, containing gut and unwanted parts. The ambiance was uninviting, and the kitchen's hygiene practices were subpar. As a customer, I expect basic cleanliness, especially in food preparation. The attached images show the unacceptable condition of the dish served. I'm extremely disappointed and concerned about potential health risks. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant and urge authorities to take action: 1. Immediately shut down the restaurant. 2. Permanently seal the premises. 3. Penalize management for negligence. Running an unhygienic restaurant, especially under a public figure's endorsement, is unacceptable. Customer health and safety should be the top priority. _Rating:_ 1/5 _Recommendation:_ Avoid this restaurant until significant hygiene improvements are made.

I recently dined at this hotel in Trivandrum, trying their chicken biryani and some fish dishes from a previous visit. The food was just okay and didn’t leave a memorable impression. The customer service was subpar, with the attitudes of both the waiter and cashier lacking warmth or attentiveness. Cleanliness is another area for improvement, as I noticed that the dishes for the meals (like rice and curries) were left open, which felt unhygienic given they would serve this to guests. The ambience was fine, but parking is a hassle, which adds to the overall inconvenience. With a few improvements, this place could offer a better experience.

My recent visit to this restaurant left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and not just because of the meal. The place had been hyped up quite a bit, but it failed to live up to the expectations.

First and foremost, the staff's behavior was far from welcoming. There was a distinct lack of attentiveness, and it was evident that they couldn't care less about our dining experience.

To make matters worse, the meals were divided into two categories: normal meals and special meals. Strangely, the staff didn't bother to inquire about our preference when taking our order. We ended up with the normal meals, and they served a small bowl of 'payasam with the meals,' which is common in many other restaurants in Trivandrum.

It was only when we received the bill that we realized they had charged us an extra 20 rupees for the 'payasam', and it dawned on us that we had been served the special meals instead. This was not only an oversight on their part but also a clear attempt to overcharge us.

The price of 110 rupees for the special meal was exorbitant considering the quality. The "choora mukakittath" was disappointingly watery, and the fish was far from fresh. It felt like a complete rip-off for what was supposed to be a special meal.

Our experience at this restaurant was marred by overpricing, lackluster service, and subpar food quality. I won't be returning anytime soon, and I'd advise others to think twice...
