Well where do I begin?!?! Canosa sure was a pleasant surprise and it knocked my socks off. As a huge Italian food fan who does boil the occasional pasta and make the occasional pesto, this restaurant was a dream come true in Kochi. I've seen many places in the city that claim to serve authentic Italian food but never have I visited one that takes the name "Italian Cuisine" this seriously and nail the brief. I went in there in the afternoon with a couple of friends in search for some pizza. The restaurant is quite cozy and charming in it's own unique way. The ambience is simple and fresh and definitely a worthy environment for the food they serve. On being seated at the table, we were presented with the menus by the lovely staff whose name unfortunately I forgot to ask. I think she may have been the manager or atleast one among the headstaff. Upon seeing the menu, we dropped our initial idea of having pizzas and we ordered a plate of garlic bread, a veg canneloni, a creamy rosa and a non veg lasagna. We were informed by the above mentioned staff that the lasagna and canneloni would take some time and we didn't mind it as we had time. It's always nice when the staff are candid about the wait time. The garlic bread kicked off our wonderful lunch in a fitting way. The home made herbed garlic butter was to die for and it's definitely some of the best I've had. Our pastas arrived after some time, the canneloni and lasagna bubbling hot from the oven. As someone who adores canneloni and its various renditions it is always a pleasant surprise to see it in a restaurant as it isn't quite common in restaurants. My point of comparison for the canneloni would always be the one from Pizza Express in Kuwait which I adore so much. Hence the bar was high and I was scared I may be disappointed. I was wrong. The bar was met and the chef knocked this out of the park. I jad my "ratatouile" moment. My friend who was enjoying his lasagana tried some of the canneloni and he was shocked at how good it tasted. The creamy rosa pasta was also amazing but undoubtedly, the canneloni was the star of the show. The quality and quantity of the food definitely justified the wait time. For food of this quality and quantity with some ingredients sourced from abroad, the price was beyond justified. I just can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu because Canosa mighy just be my favourite restaurant in Kochi at the moment. This place is definitely a great spot to have a meal with friends or family or to have a lovely date. Thank you Canosa for this experience and showing Kochi the true beauty of simple, home style...

Although they were not that classy or some place you would not want to hangout with your friends in the past,
They have done a good job restoring the place to something that feels luxurious and ambient enough for you to hangout with friends and munch on the Italian crispy fries or suck on those juicy steaks they serve.
I had ordered french fries and Barbeque Chicken Steak and both portions were really good and can make your tummy full in no time. They were excellent and yummy as far as they can be.
I should point out the fries was something different from what we would have experienced from other places. Here you can still smell that fresh cut potato straight from the fryer. I for one loved that fresh smell of potato over the frozen fries served else where.
They are still working on their drinks menu, tried the simplest one available "Fresh Lime" and it was not up to the mark of their food. Pointed out the same to them at checkout and they have promised to improve them as fast as they can.
If you love Italian Cuisine this is the best pcket friendly destination I...

It had lots of pepper tho..still no use Well it looked like a pizza...but it wasn't! Olive Cheese Garlic Bread Well...excuse me? Where's the garlic in this so called garlic bread? No flavour It was basically a roast piece of bread baked with diced blacked olives (loads of them) topped with mozzarella cheese. Nothing more..nothing less..(well obviously it had butter or oil for baking purpose)...no salt .no garlic...
