Chiyang has been the epitome of Chinese food to my family. Have been going there since childhood in their ernakulam outlet and was very excited tht they started an outlet here at angamaly. But to my disappointment their food is so bad here. Let me start with the better ones here first: Cream of chicken soup is good Dragon chicken is worth a try Now to the disasters: Chicken lollipop was neither tossed in an inhouse sauce nor was it served with one. It was served with a side of tomato sauce. Mixed fried rice was supposed to have chicken and pork but was unable taste or find any bits of pork. Chilly pork was mostly pork fat which was batter coated, fried and served in gravy. We also bought a mixed vegetable dish as takeout which was one of the worst dishes i have ever had. Just now (25/04/2024 7:15pm) I had a very bad experience from this restaurant. I Alone went to that restaurant and ordered a soup. I specifically mentioned that my requirement is 1/2 portion and they brought full portion of soup. I request to cancel 1/2 portion from that and provide me only 1/2 portion they refused and told me they don't have any options like that and again and again pointing that the mistake was from my side. They don't even allow me to talk and countered infront of the crowd. Then I asked the bill and report the incident to the person sitting in the front may be the manager. He apologized and ask me to be seated and he told that he will cancel that soups bill. Then I again sat on that same place , the same waiter came to me with a rough face and asked for the order.
