Flame'N’Go — Restaurant in Kerala

Finally, Thrissur has got its very own Authentic Pan Asian Restaurant. They have a very selective Indian menu, as well since they don't want to disappoint anyone who visits here. The Ambience looked really royal & palatial, with interesting lightings & plush furniture, giving it a look of a fine dine restaurant!! The Menu had more of Pan Asian cuisines, of which many were new to Thrissur. So let's check, what all we ordered...

PASSION FRUIT COOLER - It was one of the best Passion Fruit mocktails, which I had recently because they used original passion fruit & the way how it was presented, was very innovative!! It's one of their Signature Drinks & is a must-try!!👍🏻👌🏻

2.DYNAMITE CHICKEN - They had Shrimps option, as well. But went for the chicken, to avoid the allergy scare. This too was far better, than what I had in recent restaurants, because the quantity was more, their Signature Dynamite sauce was yummy & exceptional & the chicken was juicy!! Another must-try!!👍🏻👌🏻

3.CHILLI SQUID - It is my personal favorite seafood, after King fish & they suggested it as well. It was another yummy Appetizer, with crumb-fried squid rings with Shichimi spice mix scattered on top, placed on fried sticky noodles & served with a sweet, chilly sauce!! A paisa wasool item!! Must-try if you are a seafood lover!!👍🏻👌🏻

4.CHILLI RAMEN CHICKEN - This is their Star Attraction, as this is totally new for Thrissur!!They have lots of options in the toppings & style of presenting & this was their suggestion. Its not your regular Soup starter. It is a wholesome meal for a single person, which can be easily shared between 2 Pax. The fresh chicken spicy broth, is the star ingredient in dish!! many may like it, many won't...So try at your own risk!! I loved it though..👌🏻

5.MONGOLIAN CHICKEN - We are used to Mongolian Beef, in nearby restaurants. Apart from Chicken, they have beef too. So tried their Chicken, scattered with green spring onions, served with a small portion of rice, which makes this another wholesome meal for a person. This too can be shared. The taste was normal Chinese flavor of caramelized saucy thin chicken strips!! Sweet food lovers would love this more.. Awesome Quantity & Quality!!

6.LOMEIN BEEF - We are more used to Chow Mein, which is dry & a little crunchier. But this one is a classic wet noodle dish, with colorful sliced vegetables along with caramelized beef slices, mixing Soy sauce!! All the saucy food lovers would love it. I liked it for the crisp beef slices. Didn't feel too heavy..

7.FIRECRACKER CHICKEN - It is the most attractive among their Asian curry meals which almost looked like a burning cracker in presentation & it had a fiery spicy sauce. Apart from Chicken, they have Beef, Shrimps & Paneer option. A wholesome meal, which you can give a try!!

8.GREAT WALL OF CHOCOLATE - As the last nail in the coffin, being a chocoholic ordered straight away, this chocolate beauty served with Strawberry slices. Would have really eaten the whole wall, at a go.. if my friend wasn't there...huhuhuhu..Must-try for a chocoholic.

Prices may seem to be high. But if two people are there, you can easily share, most of their dishes, as the Quantity is good!! Had an awesome food experience...!!Ambience was awesome!! Food was sumptuous!! Hospitality was exceptional!! From the Top level, one of the Project Heads, Chef Naufal, followed by Restaurant Manager, Mr. Sony, then Restaurant Supervisor Mr. Sijo & finally to the Restaurant Captain, Mr. Saddam Hussein...all were customer-friendly & cordial!! Since it is in Selex Mall, no worries regarding Parking facilities. Since they have lifts, Senior Citizens can dine-in too!! So, I wonder , why I shouldn't give it a Fiver!! Would recommend it to all!! Enjoy the experience!!

N.B: Would suggest all, to try their maximum, to go for a DINE-IN option, since you can enjoy the food, fresh & tasty!! Deliveries & Take Away won't give...

Flame n Go in Thrissur offers a vibrant and flavorful journey through Asian cuisine. My recent visit highlighted both the restaurant's strengths and a few areas for potential improvement. The undisputed star of the show was the Blazing Dynamite Chicken. This dish lived up to its name, delivering an explosion of taste that was both spicy and incredibly satisfying. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, and the sauce was a masterful blend of heat and savory notes. It's a must-try for anyone who enjoys a bit of fire in their food. We also sampled the Chilli Chicken Ramen, which, while decent, didn't quite reach the same heights. The broth was flavorful, and the chicken was well-prepared, but I felt it was missing a key ingredient: the egg. Ramen, in my experience, almost always includes a soft-boiled or marinated egg, and its absence was noticeable. It would have added another layer of richness and texture to the dish. The Lo Mein Chicken Noodles, however, were a delightful surprise. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. What truly elevated this dish was the honey drizzle. It added a touch of sweetness that balanced the savory flavors beautifully, creating a harmonious and delicious combination. The honey wasn't overpowering, but just enough to add a unique and memorable touch. Beyond the food, the ambiance at Flame n Go was pleasant, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive impression. While the ramen didn't quite meet expectations, the Blazing Dynamite Chicken and the Honey-Drizzled Lo Mein Noodles were outstanding and definitely worth a return visit. A Hidden Gem in Thrissur – Perfect for a Family Dinner!

Thomson's Casa is easily one of the best places in Thrissur to dine with family. Though I haven't explored many restaurants in the city, the few I’ve been to always left me with something to nitpick. But Thomson’s Casa was a refreshing exception—it met all my expectations effortlessly.

Service: The service was genuinely impressive. A special shoutout to 'Sadaam', a warm and friendly non-Malayalee staff member who speaks the language fluently and always had a kind smile on his face. There was also a 'manager' (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) who went out of his way to customize a dish for my 2 yr old daughter. She absolutely loved it—and honestly, I’ve never seen her enjoy a meal that much!

Ambience: Situated inside a mall, the hygiene is top-notch. The interiors are tastefully done with soothing shades and ample space for large families. It’s clean, quiet, and ideal for private dinners. What stood out was how organized and cheerful the staff were—no clumsy service, just warmth and professionalism all around.

Food: I sampled a bit of everything—and every bite was spot on. Coming from Bangalore, where we’re spoiled with diverse cuisines, I found Thomson's Casa to be on par in terms of quality and variety.
