I had a really bad experience from the staff. I ordered one cone icecream. The staff said that since there were no cones at that time , they could only serve in a cup. I said yes. Then she said that inorder to serve in a cup, I had to order two icecreams. So I hesitantly ordered for another flavour too. Then SHE ASKED ME WHETHER I WANT THEM IN A SINGLE CUP OR IN SEPARATE CUPS. Since I didn't want those flavours to get mixed up, I asked for serving in two separate cups. I got them in two separate cups, with one big scoops each. When I asked for the bill she said that she can give the bill only after payment. So I made the payment and left the place. When I checked the bill I came to know that she had billed for FOUR icecreams instead of TWO icecreams I had ordered. When I enquired about the same, she said that I had ordered for four icecreams. Then they argued that since I had asked in two cups she served me four icecreams. I had ordered in separate cups ONLY BECAUSE she asked me whether I wanted my two icecreams in single cup or separate cups. Otherwise I wouldn't even have ordered in separate cups. She didn't even show the patience to clarify the same with me, instead she straight away added two extra cups ( THAT I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER!!) into my order.
It's not about the money but the way she DECEIVED me is what making me more irritated. It's such an irresponsible way of doing...
Read moreI received a worm in their icecream today. I went for the first time with my friend and it turned out to be a disaster. Often used to have from pauls creamery and juice barrel but for the first time, tried a different place. Ordered waffle stick and got shocked to see a moving worm in the waffle. They apologised to me and told it was from vanila powder added but i couldnt understand how can a living worm still be in it. Felt like old stuffs were used. The melting pot cake cracker ordered was served with a tissue paper at the bottom of a bottle which is really pathetic way of serving as entire cake was overflowing. Not at all professional. Icecreams are also of low quality as i have tried a lot of cafes in tvm. We were told that dining is only at outside and we sat at their outside dining space but later got some sign from them asking to take it and i found most of the icecream was melting already. The reason told to me was that they have been trying to inform me standing at their pantry since longtime which was really weird as they couldnt show basic courtesy to come out and inform that its ready. Hardly 5 steps. We were offered then a complimentary vanila icecream which was delivered on our table but we left it almost after tasting it to know quality but disappointed.. Wont suggest this place at...
Read moreLate night sweet-tooths get a new hangout juicery. The frozen bottle outlet remains open till an hour past midnight.
The novel idea of the juice bottle used for anything- from serving milkshakes to using it as a light bulb is just fantastic. The interior is moulded around the the of the bottle. Even their logo exemplifies the bottle in the centre.
Select any flavour from the many items in the menu and you will get milk shake out of it in their signature bottle. They even have the beat-up ice cream in jars. The stone jar, in the making, was deafening loud. They mash up the selected flavour of ice cream, mix it with a bit of fruit, and then again mash it up with their kitchen scrapers, then poured some syrups ans crisps into it, and again beat it up the mixture and finally jammed the whole goulash into a glass jar, topping it with a piece of fruit. The milkshakes are simply outstanding. My only greviance is that they use less than 10% of fruit in thei juices and desserts. The rest is just syrup and milk.
They even have waffle sandwhiches which are surprisingly less in demand.
Prices are on the higher side and would sometimes seem a little too much. So the place is not gonna be a regular bistro, but just...
