The ambience is what this Cafe is mostly known for, and now we know why. This cafe just exudes 'Londonness' in every possible way, be it the lighting, the decor, the tables and chairs, the wall hangings, the exterior etc. On the whole, you get the feeling that you are in London once inside this beautiful little cafe, tucked away in YMR Road. We had London Fries, Red Melon Mojito and Green Apple Ice-cream Soda from here. The London Fries, according to us was a bit overly cheesed up with Schezwan sauce all over it. We got the feeling that we should have ordered Classic Fries and not the London Fries. But once we dug into it, we kind of, were ok with the cheese and sauce. But it was not our cup of tea. The Red Melon Mojito was mostly minty and less melony, we loved it though. And for the ice cream soda, it was our first experience having one, and we got the feeling that it became more and more tasty towards the end. Loved the ambience more than the food here.
Edit : We went again today and had Classic Fries, Classic Waffles, Kiwi Cuddle London Shake and Chilli Mint Mojito. We loved everything that we ordered. The fries were one of the best we have ever tasted. The waffles were heavenly indeed and we did, as the cafe's name suggests, devour it all, which was aplenty. We loved the presentation of the dishes as well. The Kiwi Cuddle London Shake was a revelation and it had a subtle taste of bananas mixed with kiwi. And it wasn't too thick or too watery, just the right texture for a shake. The Chilli Mint Mojito was too good for words. It was spicy and a little bit minty, as the name suggests. We loved the flavor a lot. We will visit...
