A lazy Sunday afternoon... was checking out options for a good sit down eating joint to have karimeen & Neymeen... Finally, embarked at KERALA HOUSE. Been here couple of times & the last being probably more than a year ago.....

Many changes around... Initially thought the management had changed 🤔🤔 But, No... It's managed by the current generation Women Power... Many new faces in the restaurant brigade. My younger son relished the Karimeen Fry and though he was craving for beef biryani he couldn't finish it all as, the portion was really big. Neymeen Pollichathu & Neymeen Fry too were lip smacking. The boys enjoyed their chicken & beef biryani whilst wife & me wiped out the meals.

Like most other restaurants..this place too had its share of food delivery teams of various apps positioned & patiently waiting to grab their order & run...

What else to say......

The service was great. But unfortunately, just a good service dosnt make a hotel review good. The food was not at all fresh (ie fish) we ordered veg meals and they provided plain fish gravy along it it we ordered ayila, choora and naymeen (all fry)was just not at all fresh and it was served cold. I could see black spots inside the fish. We came here with great expectations but unfortunately ended up eating cold food. Talking about the price, I would say it’s expensive for what they serve. 200-250 for the cold fish. Sitting Area was clean as I said, I would give 5 star for the service they provide with always a smile on their face. Absolutely no parking area for cars. It’s in a one way road. Bike parking is available.

Kerala house, one of our favourite restaurant, no matter its South Indian or North Indian dishes, everything have a perfection and an Annu chechi (current owner) touch. Unlike most of the restaurants, here its more into homely type food with less oil , but of great taste.

Recently I ordered panner mushroom masala for one of our family get together and the dish delivered was very yummy and now all our family members are a great fan of this paneer mushroom masala.

Not only taste, the rate is also affordable. Prompt home delivery 👍🏼

For the past few years we don’t have to rethink while ordering my daughter’s birthday cake 🎂 Every year its like above our expectations.
