Ananda Bhavan — Restaurant in Kerala

How ever delicious the food served(may be - as per five start rating), it should be served with in speculated time.. I have waited a there for approximately 1 hour with my 1 year old child and wife and left the place without food served. At least the staff should have the courtesy to inform that food will get delayed . While leaving that place staff noted us leaving and just announced to the kitchen that the order got cancelled. What a care for customer. They should have at least said a sorry for the inconvenience cause…. Hats off to the worst managed restaurant in the Trivandrum city… Google should provide option for negative rating for these kind of...

I came with my family but experience was pathetic. We had masala dosa, keema parotta, and both items were extremely spicy. Dosa was made from stale batter, parotta was bad. Restaurant was dirty. I got blisters in my mouth. When i complained the manager, he started yelling at me for nothing. I did tell him that nobody asked me my preference for spice. Started taking advantage of Malayali since we did not speak the language . The waiter tried to convince the owner that it was kitchen’s fault but own started telling me that I was trying to avoid paying bill. People like these make Kerala look bad on the map....

Bland food, substandard service and easily avoidable hotel. Being a resident of Tvm we decided to give it a try, managed to hop in around 8:30 PM. Despite the fact there were only 2-3 tables occupied waiter took good 5-8 minutes to attend our table. The cashier whom I feel is the proprietor wasnt keen on about why the order wasn't attended.

Ordinary masala dosas, poori with not do different chutney, sambhar. Wouldn't recommend this joint as there are Arul jyothi, aruna, sai aanandhas, saravana bhavan etcetera of the same category who provides much better food...
