I completed my quarantine with Hilton. I was a bit anxious in the beginning as I was a female going to do quarantine alone in a hotel. I contacted Mr. Vinayan in Sales with my initial queries and he patiently and quickly responded to all of them.
I had the same pleasant experiences with everyone I came into contact with at Hilton. Any question I put through with the reception was answered very soon to my satisfaction, from housekeeping to engineer in charge of room utilities to health care department official. I was blissfully surprised with the wide choices of food they had on their menu for quarantine folks. From appetizers to a selection of main items to desserts. The menu could take care of people needing North Indian to traditional Kerala to some Western food requirements.
The room was very comfortable. I can't think of it lacking anything I needed. A single call to the reception could take care of anything that needed restocking in the room. Melissa at the reception was an extremely efficient staff I have met thus far. She could understand any concern you bring to the reception, suggest a quick and effective solution and was personable.
There are a few individuals I want to name and thank - Vinayan in Sales and Shakti Singh (the GM at Hilton). Special thanks also to Amitabh (the kitchen manager) who asked me about my stay and to let him know if I need anything on food, Amit (who suggested new items to try and adjusted a dish on the menu to suit my taste), Surender (very kind), Romesh (who cheerfully served breakfast), Tintu (the first person in 'in-room dining' who took my rather long list of food and even recommended more), the chefs who are behind all the delicious food I got daily, and Soumya and Vivek - a special thank you to both of you. All of them made the stay pleasant. Also thanking housekeeping staff for quickly bringing restocks.
The place was perfect not only to quarantine, but also to relax and recover from jetlag. It was quiet, felt safe and comfortable. The fact they had an officer from the health department made a difference as well. I got a free covid test!

Luxury bed and breakfast..especially the room was stunning classy,pleasant & clean, very spacious and comfortable.. .I relished widespread breakfast buffet..Breakfast consists of bread with cold cuts, cheeses, bacon, dosas, Poori, porridge with Oven Roast chicken, Medu vada, Undampori, Pancakes, Sausages, Grilled Veggies,Fresh juices including cucumber juice etc.. The staffs in the restaurant always enquired about our comfort especially Ms.Devika. She provide an excellent service to the customer even after having the breakfast also she made us much comfort. .Mr. Prabha Kant, who is the restaurant manager, has a good potential to please the customers and rise up the value of the property..I have stayed alot of hotels at Trivandrum.. But i never findout these much of spreads anywhere..Amazing food, Pleasing service and Great Experience..Words are beyond... Obviously, I will choose this hotel in future visits too.. As a travel agent , I will strongly recommend this hotel to my guests too. The front office of the hotel is very calm .We can say it's ok ok.Front desk staff should be energetic and have an interaction skill than I felt. I personally suggest this hotel the people who needs calm and quiet atmosphere for stay they treat the guest in a calm and good manner. Read moreThe service is pretty bad. I had booked the hotel via Agoda and requested early check in since our flight was an early morning flight landing in Trivendrum at around 8am. The confirmation email from the hotel said that although early checkin is subject to availability they will prioritise my request. There was no mention of extra charges in the confirmation email. However when I arrived they insisted that I pay half day room charge in order to check in at 8 am, around Rs 4800. The manager Sharan Jeeth S L was unapologetic about the lack of complete information provided by the hotel and moreover blamed me for not contacting the hotel over the phone to confirm the extra charge...why is it necessary to contact the hotel over the phone when I communicated over email and also received confirmation email back from hotel??? This type of customer service is very disappointing from a brand like Hilton. Moreover, the room provided had only 2 of each items like mugs, drinking glasses, toiletries etc. when I had booked the room for 3 adults. Had to request each of those items separately. Also, No 3rd bed provided. No water bottles provided... I had to call and ask for all of them. Room size is very small and congested for 3 people although it showed the room capacity as Max 3 adults and I was charged more for booking for 3 adults. Overall my experience was way below expectations from Hilton. Good luck keeping the customers with this attitude...
