Our visit to Kottaram Sweet House - Kians Cafe was a delightful and relaxing experience. Despite the team being busy with their morning delivery of fresh puffs and bakery delicacies, they managed to maintain excellent service.

We were a group of six, and the staff handled everything efficiently, balancing the organization of their stock with taking our orders. Service was prompt, and the food did not disappoint. The fruit salad is a standout recommendation—refreshing and flavorful—while the freshly baked puffs were an absolute treat.

Adding a personal touch, the owner, who was managing the cash counter when we arrived, took the time to visit our table and ensure we were enjoying our experience. Small gestures like these make a lasting impression.

One of the vert few bakeries around that opens at 7 in the morning. I don't know what the other grumpy reviewers had to expect and say but I found it really living upto my expectations. I had the Marble cake and egg puff and both were fresh and very very tasty. The staff was very welcoming and the owner was ofcourse very warm.

But the star of the show was fruit salad with oodles of chopped fruits, cornflakes and fresh dry fruits. The ice-cream was whipped and blended through giving the salad an amazing texture.

Location is a plus and a must visit if you are on this side...

Its one of the best bakery around Kanjikuzhy, with clean environment, amazing traditional delights and one can pre-order for their famous vattayapam and chicken biriyani.The staffs are very friendly.

The best items I personally loved are : Fish Packet (a chunky fish piece wrapped in a case and shallow fried), Vattayapam ( its a sweet flour, fluffy bread) , Passion fruit squash or syrup, Snow ball snack item and all of their shakes and juices.
