A Perfect Evening of Food , Family & Joy. We recently visited Gokulam Park Kochi to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish!

We opted for the buffet dinner, and the variety was simply mind-blowing. From fresh salads to perfectly cooked pasta, flavorful rice dishes, and a wide range of delicious mains — every single item was a delight.

What truly stood out, apart from the food, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Special thanks to Anas, Salsabeel and Neeraj, who served us with such care and friendliness. A big shout-out to Ananya, who handled our table booking and made sure everything was organised beautifully. Her hospitality and client approach were truly commendable.

We had our baby with us, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable — even playing with the baby, which allowed us to enjoy our meal without stress. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us as parents.

To top it all off, they noticed our coordinated outfits and guessed we were celebrating a special occasion. To our surprise, they brought out a cake with a candle, making the evening even more memorable. They even clicked lovely photos for us, creating memories we’ll truly cherish.

I've been here a couple of times for the 799 INR lunch buffet and have been very happy with the food and the service. There's a decent variety of salads, two soups, veg and non veg curries, Indian breads, condiments and desserts. My favourite things: salads (mung bean sprout salad, egg lettuce salad), fresh fluffy crisp parotha and the variety of expertly made desserts.

The restaurant is a nice reprieve from the city's bustle since it's located inside a calm hotel and because of that the service is also top notch. The staff and chef were more than happy to cater to my needs by making me a custom dish without additional charge since I couldn't have the curries and needed a plain meal. Now, there's plain about my custom meal - it was thoughtfully prepared with no seasonings other than salt as requested, and served in a generous portion.

There were many helpful and available staff during the lunch hour. Come before 2pm, the earlier the better. The food was untouched and served when I got there at noon, and it was easier to get custom service then before the crowd started trickling in shortly after all the way till past 2pm. Very very pathetic restaurant "periyar". Went with colleagues for a lunch. Ordered 3-4 non veg items and single veg item for 2 vegetarians in the group which includes myself. Veg. meloni which costs around 400 came to the table. Terrifically in the dish we found around 5 number of plastic threads. Red coloured plastic threads in the dish😳 the floor manager Mr. Philip offered a change for the dish. They couldnt make the same dish again and gave us a terrible paneer curry in exchange, which we never wanted. He himself decided and gave a dish without even asking us our choice of dish. I don't wish to express my anger more. Very very pathetic restaurant. Anyone who wishes to eat good food please please avoid this place. NB: Gokulam park is no more the same. Had bitter experiences during past 2 visits.
