Rizo Resto — Restaurant in Kerala

The food was very tasty and the quantity was good. Let me start from the beginning... We reached there and there was very low parking like 5 slots for cars. We have to go down like 6-8 steps to reach the restaurant main area. There are plenty of seats and a cozy,bar like vibe. The service is okay but not great because they out-right did next to nothing for us,I mean,they did not bring sauces until we asked,no water until the food got served and worst of all...they asked us to take the menus and plates ourselves! But they were good at punctuality as the food arrived quickly without delay and it was the best i had in the month of october-november! Overall... Good food and atmosphere. But not great service and less parking so,here's a guide: Come on a bus and reach high court stand,the main 'ernakulam' stand for all buses travelling from paravur or munambam. 2.walk to here,it's not that far and not tiresome Don't come if ur in a wheelchair. Take ur own menus and plates beforehand Order as soon as u can as some items such as al-faham or mandhi will take longer Be patient,orders take a while but it'll...

We ordered food via the Zomato app, but by mistake, the restaurant sent the wrong item to us. We tried to contact Zomato via chat support, but they simply rejected our request without providing any sufficient reason or solution. So, we tried to contact the restaurant directly.

We were pleasantly surprised by the gesture of the restaurant’s staff, especially Mr. Rizwan Rizo, who immediately informed us that he would personally deliver the correct order item to us. We truly appreciate the kindness shown by Mr. Rizo and the entire restaurant team. Within no time, he delivered the correct item to our home.

And, we almost forgot to mention, they serve excellent...

This was the worst mandi I’ve ever had. I ordered the cheesy alfaham mandi and my friend ordered the peri peri. The peri peri was okay, but the cheesy alfaham was just terrible.

They claimed it was "cheesy," but what they poured on top was just mayonnaise mixed with some kind of cream. There was no cheesy taste at all. The rice had no flavor, it was dry, and the mayonnaise they gave in a bottle was watery and tasteless.

Even if they gave it for free, I wouldn’t go back. I came to Ernakulam town for some work, saw this restaurant on Instagram, and got fooled by their fake promotion videos saying the cheesy mandi was amazing.

Please don’t mislead people...
