We’ve been in India for one month and have tried a lot of different places already, with mostly good experiences for service and food. We usually find our happiness and solutions to spicy food that we don’t always want or easily digest. At SN restaurant, we asked for our dishes not to be spicy. The waiter told us it wasn’t gonna be spicy (we know their « not spicy » can still be a bit spicy at some places ofc), but both our dishes were very spicy and when we told him, he said « yes yes spicy » with a big smile. I mean…communication isn’t always easy, but we expected some minimum understanding and sympathy as well. Instead it felt like the situation was funny for the waiter. The chicken manchurian was in sauce, just so you know in case you expect it not to be (like we tasted it in other places). The chicken wasn’t well cooked and a lot of bones. Read moreI personally happen most of the time while I visit Munnar I'll be entering this restaurant because I think this is the cleanest and the most tasty food serving restaurant in that area. I've been to muneer like two times this year. One time with my friends, another time with my father. Whenever we are about to enter munnar, we certainly be having lunch or dinner in this restaurant . I have mostly had meals, prawn fry, kozhuva fry, poratta, chicken 65, chicken biriyani and chicken curry. The restaurant has a bakery called annapurni beside it where you get good tea and an ATM of SBI Bank near it. So obviously you can withdraw money. The place is quite clean. The toilets are pretty clean and satisfactory. The staff of the restaurant are pretty well behaved and friendly. All in all I have had a pretty nice experience whenever I visit this restaurant to...
Read moreWe went to this place based on the reviews but sadly it didn't match up to the expectations. The noodles in the Veg Noodle Soup were under cooked and the soup was extremely spicy. The non veg Kothu Paratha was good but again on the spicy side. The Schezwan Veg Noodles were a disaster. The masala and the noodles were not even mixed properly and it was way beyond spicy. May be it was our timing, ie just half hour before the closing time or may be the staff was just not interested. Whatever the case may be, we had a bad experience and I would not like to re-visit this place or recommend...
