My 5* review for this establishment does not do it justice. This place is truly amazing in all respects. The staff are friendly, welcoming and have a hive of information about the dishes they serve and the local area. It felt like nothing was too much to ask and they took a real pride in their work. We visited with our 22 month old baby and staff were like second parents towards him. The location of the cafe/restaurant is breathtaking sitting on a cliff top with direct access to the beach. As you eat the view is beautiful and the sound of the rolling waves relaxes you. Now the important part! The food. We ate here for 2 evenings in a row. After our first visit the food was so good we had to go again. I actually got exited in the afternoon at the prospect of eating more of their delicious food. First night I had the Biryani Arancini balls and my wife had Saumyas famous Dal, both dishes were so tasty and very affordable. Second night we had the Fish Tachos and Lime pickle paneer wrap. Both were an explosion of taste making you crave for more. It’s evident that a lot of thinking and skill goes into developing these recipes. We met the chef and commended him on his work. All the staff are so humble. Special thanks to Arum for being so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back when we...
Read moreThe main issue with this place when we visited it was timing. We came to this cafe to drink coffee on our way. First we had to wait 15 min before the kitchen opens. Just mind that they start serving food after 12:30. We had to wait two americanos for almost an hour then and it was very unpleasant to see that the stuff served people who came later while we were still waiting. We didn't understand exactly what was the difficulty with making coffee but somehow it seems that it's organised this way. Ag last when coffee was there - it was perfect and very nice. Also I have to admit they did their best to change the impression - provided complimentary cookies and didn't charge for the food. And it was extremely nice of them. Overall I think this place might be a good experience if you're not in a hurry: the atmosphere is very calming, the quality of good is excellent. Just hope that they will find the way to solve the issue with the timings and then I think they are going to be just perfect...
Read moreIt’s run by Indians (assumption), but Indians are not welcomed.
As we entered the place, a guy from distant pointed his finger at us and told us to get out in a very arrogant manner. No reason was given and I felt like I was trespassing.
I am not sure about the food, maybe they are good. But i definitely know it’s only served for the foreigners.
Been to many countries Never felt this discriminated or disrespected this bad, in my own. Treating someone like they don’t belong there when it is a publicly open restaurant was not something I expected to...
