Sree Padmanabha hotel — Restaurant in Kerala

When a person goes to a restaurant they expect good food atleast when you are near one of the wealthiest temple of India and named after it.

However this restaurant disappoints you on so many levels.

Here is what I ordered Plain utthapa, Onion Utthapa, Fried Rice, Masala Dosa

I had dinner with my mother and father here. I was expecting good taste, however all I got was food. Food that had bland sambar, the chutney is filled with so much water that there is no taste remaining. The quality of Utthapams were good. However the lack of taste in the sambar or the chutney made it worse. And dont get me started with the fried rice. I dont want to be harsh but it was unfathomable how it was made, the flat beans were so dominant that you could only feel the taste of grass, the rice so dry that you will be parched if you even think of eating a single bite. My night was ruined, even if it was a family reunion.

We had a masala dosa and coffee from steel padmanabha hotel...it's located near to the famous sree padhmanabha temple...and a nice view is also from the sitting area towards the temple...masala dosa was very tasty and uzhyunnu vada given with that was very hot and crunchy...nice taste... specially the coffee taste was awesome taste.... every thing was hot and the service person also was great..very smiling face..good care good service...very spacious restaurant for family... every body can enjoy.. For every body I havinga information about this restaurant.. their is no card payment facility ..so please keep...

This hotel is near Temple and it's pure veg. It has enough seating arrangements but no AC. Food prices are nominal and quick service. The staff is attentive and can talk in the Hindi language too. We had Podi Dosa, roti Sabji and ghee podi Idli with lemon water. The preparation was good only Sambhar had no taste. Coconut chutney was okay. Veggies with roti were okay. Ghee pod Idli was good. Simple restaurant with good food. We paid a total of 273rs for overall food including GST. At this price,...
