If you're looking for a good place to enjoy some vegetarian food near Kozhikode beach, Sri Venkatesh Lunch Home is definitely worth a visit. No hygiene at all ...hand wash area is disgusting..its so dirty and congested place ..do not look to their kitchen ...
We ordered Masala Dosa ...in my entire life I haven't had such a pathetic dosa ..the masala looked like leftover dal mixed with potatoes...immediately we stopped eating it , then ordered a tea ..which was even worst ..just a sip ...the we noticed that everyone is ordering idly ...so we tried idly ..which was good ..but sambar was weired...not like North kerala type ..not even south kerala type ..not even tamil style ...oh God ...
Almost all the kitchen staffs are bengalis . . There is no traditional recipe or work culture which they follow ...I complained about the food to the reception, he said probably due to new cook ....!

The filter coffee is OK. Could be better. But they offer sugar on the side which most places don't. This is a great touch for diabetics. Please...
