I've purchased it several times, and it consistently delivers the same high quality and flavor every single time. One of the best things about this café is its exceptional customer service. The lady staff member who assists me is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. She has a knack for guiding customers to the perfect choice, ensuring that every purchase feels personal and thoughtful. Her recommendations have never disappointed me, and her warm demeanor adds a special touch to every visit. In addition to their delicious cakes, the café offers a convenient setup that enhances the overall experience. There’s parking space right in front of the shop, which makes quick stops for takeaways a breeze. For those who plan to stay a bit longer or visit during peak hours, they also have a basement parking facility. This thoughtful design shows how much the café values its customers’ convenience. The ambiance of Third Place Café is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to visit while placing orders or picking up cakes for special occasions. Their selection is wide and varied, but the semifreddo cake remains my personal favorite. Third place, honestly, I still have no idea why it's called " 3rd place " , wish someone would tell me why the owner named it like that..! 😅 But it is what it is.... The oldest gelato shop in town! And the only gelato shop where you can get amazing gelato and food! 😍

Okay, I've ordered burgers from them and honestly, they have some amazing beef burgers, but yesterday, we went there to chill! And the place has come a long way, compared to what it was more than a decade ago, this place now offers wide varieties of not just gelato but coffee and other food items that are tasty!!! Even the interiors have changed, what it was just bare minimum in the past, now it's cosier and sleek. ⭐ French fries, wooh, delicious, burgers! Off the roof! Had a gelato shake with their dark chocolate gelato and I simply loved it... especially being a dark chocolate lover. ❤️ Spent nearly couple of hours and we didn't know how the time flew.. friendly staff and kind staff also.. and they do give huge helpings for just tasting the different flavours that they have! That's awesome! ( Because every other place gives a microscopic size and hardly your tongue can taste it)

I do have two complaints,

1. A bathroom would be very useful especially when you are there for more than an hour doing work or just chilling and would also help women when they really need to go! This is a must need!!! I was standing next to a random woman who asked the lady at the counter for the washroom and she got a firm no, that's sad to see that! 😕

2. A TV plays random music but the sound system plays different music, put them both on sync, please! I loved your playlist but some of the songs that MTV had, I wish I could have sang along with them .... 😅

Apart from these two issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there especially going there...

A perfect to go hangout place in Kottayam🤩 This place is located within the heart of kottayam and is a one of a kind experience for those people who'd wanna spend quality time trying out some interesting delicacies. The place is located well off from the mainstream crowd of kottayam and hence is quite hard to spot at first glance. Their menu covers a wide array of mouthwatering and bud invoking stuff like waffles, coffee, sandwiches, fries, gelato ice cream, cakes, name it and you have it all. The menu is fairly priced and after being acknowledged about the same through verbal convos with acquaintances, I had decided to give this place a visit and man o man did it not disappoint. I had tried out their gelato ice cream. The staff is very friendly and they indeed pamper you with their hospitality. The guy out there offered me almost all of their flavours and made apt suggestions to resolve my confusion in picking a dish. There are some interesting flavours to try out which are first of it's kind in my observation around kottayam. It was certainly a bang for a buck scenario and an afternoon well spent to spend a lazy day with some tempting ice cream. This place has ample parking space and seating for ample amount of people. This has indeed won my heart and is a sure no brainer for my dessert hence forth. Will definitely come back...
