6 Ballygunge Place Take Away — Restaurant in Kolkata

I called ahead and placed my order. They didn't have half of the items that i wanted to order or even the popular ones like mangsho jhol. Even after confirming because coming to the place,i had to wait for 10 mins as my order wasn't ready. And then got to know they only accept cash. Also if you want the combo meal or the family pack you have to inform them 2 days beforehand which is a bummer. Because almost no one plans what they want to eat 2 days ahead since Kolkata isn't remote Alaska. Overall the service and facilities were terrible. Food was decent. Not going...

As much as I love the original 6 Ballygunge place and what they served, this take away joint’s food is terrible to say the least. I prefer my food fresh but here they serve from roti to Biriyani which were tucked away in a corner of their“expensive freezer”. They will reheat the neatly packed boxes in a microwave and then serve.

Really a grate place to cherish the authentic Bengali cuisine. Frank behavior of the staffs. Clean and well maintained outlet.
