Cafe Kabira — Restaurant in Kolkata

Great place. The feel is very nice and authentic. The interiors look awesome. Its decorated with newspaper and large mirrors. They sell customized bags, tshirts among other customized items. They also sell authentic honey and some books. The book collection is highly curated and I personally think that the collection is very good. I mean, I have read almost all the books that was there on display and most of them were my favourites. So you can understand that keep a very selected set of books for sale.

The only reason I rated this lower is because they failed to deliver in time citing some reason. When I asked them why didn't they send the order to someone(or some company) or inform me sooner they didn't have a proper reply.

I absolutely do not discourage anyone to go to this place as they have a very cheap price to quality factor and the man in charge is nice to talk to, too. I just wish he took more initiative to keep...

Its located in a very prime location, beside main road which connects Garia and Jadavpur. However, the hoarding of the cafe being small it was unable to find the entrance. You will found different bong merchandise through the hallway to the actuall siting room. Ambience is not that good(a bit dark). However the walls are very interesting, its full of old n new movie posters n also scribbled with people's thoughts... The food is very reasonable n of average taste.. I will suggest to go for drinks rather than main course here... Its a good spot to chill with your buddies while having something...

This place have a homely atmosphere.. Very nicely decorated with stuffs, ready to be purchased. It's a small place, situated in Jadavpur in a very hidden way, I guess :P :D The food they prepare is very pocket friendly and mouth-watering at the same time. I loved the Chicken Salad from the menu, its really tasty guys!! Please take the stairs up to feel the relaxed ambience of the place, sitting comfortably on the mat. So people who stay nearby or likes to visit Cafes with friends, should give it a try. Hope to visit...
