After being bored with treating myself with the likes of CCDs and Aqua Javas, I felt the need to visit something new and hence the choice of this outlet.
I, not being a Hookah user, wished to sit outside, but, the staff requested us to enter the Hookah area. However, after entering they didn't bother us about our choice of seats and was 'allowed' to choose any.
After placing ourselves (me, along with a friend of mine) , we glanced at the menu and ordered for Oreo Cold Coffee along with Ginger Tea.
The ambiance of the place is quite spacious and gloomy a bit. It is smoky due to hookah flames but since hookah does have any distinct odour, I was fairly comfortable sitting there.
There was a 'possible' customer who was continuously making loud phone calls and was laughing along with staffs as if he is a regular one was getting on my nerves. It might be highly possible that he is the owner of the place owing to his familiarity with people and nonverbal orders. However, this type of person are actually a nuisance.
We were served with the Oreo Cold Coffee and Ginger Tea in a swift manner. The staffs out there are not much jolly but they are good enough not to be an nuisance.
Ginger Tea was for me and my friend chosed the Cold Coffee. The tea tasted very dcecent and it gave some memories of Masala Tea during real 'Tea Junction' time (Now, their tea is pathetic). After my tea, I had the pleasure of tasting the Cold Coffee too and it was too sweet.
The ratings for the beverages can be seen in this manner: Ginger Tea - 4.5/5 Oreo Cold Coffee - 3.5/5
After taking few pictures and relaxing ourselves, we went towards our...

Read moreA chai place is neither a motel nor a bar.
The cafe seems to be struggling with knowing where they stand. I sat at the non hookah place, the most outside seating on a day with less occupancy.
I suppose a cafe to give me ample space to work, read or chit chat. However, the staff repeatedly came and asked me for further orders hinting that I wasn't a high value customer for them. This when there already were some empty tables. The experience was almost like a motel and the sound coming from hookah place made it like a bar.
Coming to the least important part - food. Cottage cheese burger was too sour. They mixed jalapenos, pickled veggies and sour onion, which made it taste bad also. The burger was max 5cm in diameter. The...
