I was out with my friend at south city mall, it was my birthday and we had a lots of things we were carrying, she said we can go to food court to eat smt, but I was adamant on going to COLAB, so we came here. It was very hot outside and so we wanted a seat inside, but there wasn't any, so we sat on the billing counter and we asked how long can we get a seat after, the guy said 40 mins, I mean no way we can wait that long for, he asked us we can wait outside after ordering but as it was hot we wanted to stay inside, and suddenly the guy says he could arrange a small table, I thought he'll arrange a small table, not something smaller than even the pizza they serve and a thing to sit which is smaller, sitting on that among other ppl was so freaking embarrassing that we even being so hot outside decided to go there and ordered peach iced tea and Margherita pizza, we sat down and not few mins later the same guy came and asked us to sit on a table attached to a tree and on which istg not even their pizza could've been kept, and the chair to sit on was broken too, we still listened even tho there was a girl sitting alone on the table for 6, later that got empty so we changed our seats there with 18 things to carry and even more, and they served pizza and peach iced tea, the pizza tasted like shallow layer of sauce on roti and in the name of toppings it was only basil leaf, not even what they mentioned on their menu card, and the peach iced tea tasted like lemon water, not taste of peach and no taste of some flower they mentioned, and guess what, they guy came again right when we were still eating and asked us to change seats, I mean what the hell, we weren't even done eating and I went furious but didn't want to make a scene so we hurried up with food as if we were paid to eat fast, bruh, service was even worse than a roadside fast food stalls, atleast they dont ask their visitors to change seat 5 times and humiliate them, I seriously want to rate it, 0 stars, even if this place is last place left on earth to eat food, I...
Read moreCollab Coffee is undoubtedly an Aesthetic Cafe which you can explore with your friends and click good pictures. But Food & Hospitality is little concerning. Staffs are not at all Welcoming, neither they are interested to interact politely with customers. I wanted to try Alfredo Penne pasta so they suggested me to take Pomodero with add on chicken. Pasta was good but I felt it's bit Overpriced considering the portion & Chicken Chunks they added. I mean it costed around Rs500 (including gst) so the portion should be served accordingly.
Then we ordered Classic Strawberry Shake & Biscoff Cold Coffee and this made me regret. Strawberry Shake was disaster! I have never had such Shake. No sweet nothing... I wonder how can someone serve such Shake that also a very Basic one. Horrible! That Shake costed around Rs300 (including gst). Seriously? Owner/ Management should make a note. Even basic garnishing was also not done. It was simply poured in a normal glass.
Biscoff Cold Coffee was average! Again not upto the mark considering the price.
So my overall experience was really disappointing coz Ambience is definitely what matters but when we are trusting on you for our lunch or Dinner please atleast try to keep it decent. It feels very disheartening while paying our bills when food is not upto the mark.
Trust me no1 would revisit such Cafes again if Food is disaster & Staff Behavior is rude. (Ofcourse I m talking about my opinion). U can surely share your opinion. Or rather give me just 1 Reason why should we revisit again when nothing is upto the mark...

The rustic setup, complemented by warm lights, creates a relaxed and charming atmosphere while preserving the original essence of the place.
On two separate visits, we tried:
Biscoff Latte
Dark Mocha
Americano
Fish Finger
The fish finger is easily one of the best I’ve had. The fish inside was fresh and flaky, with well-balanced marination. While I usually skip dips, the accompanying dip was so good that I made sure to pair it with every bite. This dish is an absolute must-try.
The Dark Mocha was decent but leaned more toward hot chocolate, with the chocolate overpowering the coffee. The Americano, however, had a well-roasted profile with a pleasant fruity note.
The Biscoff Latte was a tale of two experiences. On my first visit, it was exceptional—perfectly textured, with a great balance between the caramely richness of Biscoff and the strength of the coffee. However, on the second visit, it was a disappointment. The texture was off, the coffee was watery, and the decadence from the first experience was completely missing.
Given the premium pricing, I feel the cafe should focus on maintaining consistency, especially in their coffee. While my second experience with the Biscoff Latte was underwhelming, the overall ambiance and that unforgettable fish finger make this a nice...
