Brewbakes café and bistro — Restaurant in Kolkata

My best friend and I went out for new experiences on a Saturday. We decided to visit Brewbakes café in Jodhpur Park.

We loved the ambience and decor. The hand-drawn art on the walls and the cozy atmosphere of the small café are its forte.

Sadly I cannot say the same about food. The menu appears to be reasonably priced in a glance. But when we tasted the cheese balls, they appeared meh. The drinks were sugary. The host was friendly initially but unhelpful when we asked for clarification regarding certain items in the menu.

When the fish and chips arrived, our real problem started. I am somewhat of a fish and chips connoisseur in Kolkata yet this is the first time I saw deep fried fish fillet accompanied by packaged potato crisps instead of french fries. When we bit into the fish, there was a terrible smell. We called the host immediately who denied everything. He talked to the chef privately and came back to us saying that the smell was because the fish had been marinated with vinegar! When we insisted that he taste and that we would pay for it if he could eat it, he declined and hurried away. He refused to acknowledge that his supplier might have messed up this one time.

Even though he did not charge for the spoilt dish, his demeanor became cold and it soured our entire experience.

If you visit this place, I wish you better luck...

Today we drove to the cafe in jodhpur park to try the food and coffee there.this cafe ambience and food menu along with the overall ambience are Fantastic and i must say this cafe scores over all other cafe in same jodhpur park area. The decor and theme inside with soft music at the background was really relaxing! We ordered chicken club sandwich and fish finger and Irish cold coffee, really loved the preparation of the delicious food which was well prepared and reasonably priced too. The quality of food was much better than others and we enjoyed everything there! The owner was very courteous and himself was involved in all feedback taking from each customer including us. He has really maintained a good hygeine and ensured good cleanliness too which is difficult to find.i recommend brewbakes to all to go and experience! Ideal for couples, family members and friends.too good and one of the best cafes we visited in Kolkata...

Are you looking for a place where you can sit and talk with your dear ones but finding it hard to locate one…. then my recommendation for you all will be the cafe "Brewbakes".

You will just Love the homely cafe decor with its serene ambience. The host is very friendly and loving by nature. 🔵The menu is diminutive yet gives you options to choose from a variety of foods.

🔵They have a variety of beverages among which you must try their Iced Irish coffee, Lemon spicy soda, Virgin mojito or the Iced Mocha.

🔵Although they have many things to offer to satisfy your taste buds, but being a pizza lover I can never resist their thin crust pizza and moreover if you waana spice it up, you can customise the level as per your needs.

🔵 If you are willing to try some snacks that are crispy from outside and yet soft from inside then must try their fish fingers.
