So Was At This Newly Opened Branch Of The Famous Chain Of Gupta Brothers.

Location : Exactly Outside MG Road Metro Station. Opposite To Mahajati Sadan.

Ambience : Ample Space To Fit Many People At A Time.

Service & Staff : All The Attendants Were Well Behaved And Prompt. Service Was Also Quick.

Food, Our Main Area Of Expertise :

Drinks : Mango Milk Shake - Loved It, Chilled Mango Milkshake With Chunks Of Mango In It To Bring In Great Texture.

Badam Milk Shake - Tasted Just Like Our Badam Thandai. Was Delicious. If You Have It Once You'll Definitely Ask For A Refill.

Starters : Momo Tikka - These Were The Best Among The Starters, Never Had Something Like This Before. It Was Very Delicious. Really Liked The Flavour And Presentation.

Paneer Tikka - Classic Paneer Tikka, I'm A Big Fan Of Gupta Brothers Paneer Tikka.

Paneer Hariyali Tikka - Was A Bit Different, But Good. Like The Taste.

Main Course : Kulcha Combo ( Paneer, Chola & Kulcha ) - Too Big Kulcha Just Like A Bhatura, Was Good To Taste. could Really Use Dal Makhani In This Platter. Chola Were Bit Sweet, But Good To Taste, Good For People Who Don't lIke Spicy Food.

Rice Combo ( Paneer, Dal Makhani & Pulao ) : Classic Pulao With Dal, Great Combination. Could Remove Paneer From This Platter Also Because Dal & Pulao Only Worked It Out😋🤤

Desserts : Not A Person Who Has A Thing For Desserts, But Really Liked Their Desserts.

Rabri (Mango, Kesar, Badam) - My Fav, Great Texture, Great Taste, No Compromise. Perfect Balance Of Sweetness. Add 2-3 Spoon Of It In Milk And Milk Will Need No Additional Flavours Children Will Gulp It Like That Only.

Mango Boat - Tasty Mango Chumchum Type. Had Pieces If Mango And Was Great To Taste.

Butterscotch Chhuparustam - Haha The Name Is Too Catchy. Likewise The Taste Is. It Was Also Delicious. Perfect Balance.

Visiting the famous sweet shop gupta brothers in Kolkata was an absolute delight, and it exceeded all my expectations. This iconic establishment is renowned for its delectable sweets, and I can wholeheartedly vouch for the fact that it lives up to its reputation.

Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a mesmerizing display of sweets that seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. The variety on offer was staggering, with every conceivable type of sweet one could imagine. From the classic sandesh to the more exotic rasgullas and beyond, this sweet shop has it all.

I decided to sample an assortment of their sweets, and each one was a revelation. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the textures were nothing short of perfection. It's evident that the sweets are prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring a consistently high standard of quality.

What impressed me the most was the way this sweet shop managed to preserve the traditional recipes and flavors while also introducing innovative twists to some of the classics. It's a testament to their commitment to both tradition and innovation.

The service was impeccable, with staff who were not only knowledgeable about their sweets but also incredibly helpful in guiding me through the selection process. They even offered me some samples to help me make my choices.

In terms of variety and quality, this sweet shop in Kolkata goes above and beyond what one would expect. It's a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or anyone interested in experiencing the authentic flavors of Kolkata. I left with a box of assorted sweets, and I'll be savoring the memories of this visit for a long...

Gupta Brothers, located opposite Mahajati Sadan near the M.G. Road Metro Station, is a sprawling and impressive food complex. Known for its diverse offerings, the outlet boasts live counters outside the building and an expansive range of sweets, snacks, and meals inside. From South Indian dishes to Chinese, noodles, cakes, pastries, and Bengali sweets, it’s truly a one-stop destination for food lovers. The complex also features a comfortable seating area for those who wish to enjoy their meals on-site. During my visit, I tried their *Chilli Paneer Dosa*, which, unfortunately, was underwhelming. Having lived in Pune and experienced the authentic Bombay-style *Chilli Paneer Dosa*, I had high expectations, especially since the menu labeled it as "Bombay-style." However, the stuffing turned out to be plain paneer with raw capsicum and overly spicy chili, which felt quite off-putting and did not match the authentic flavors I had hoped for. On a brighter note, the *Pav Bhaji* from the live counter was absolutely delicious and redeemed my experience. Despite the disappointment with the dosa, I plan to revisit Gupta Brothers to explore more dishes, as their extensive menu and vibrant atmosphere make it a popular spot in Kolkata.
