I’ve been a loyal customer of La Patisserie at Taj Bengal for years and have always held their standards in high regard — until now. I recently purchased two croissants and a chocolate chip cake, only to find that the croissants were completely spoiled and emitting a foul smell by the time I reached home — within just 30 minutes. This level of quality is absolutely unacceptable from a five-star establishment. Not only was the product unfit for consumption, but it also raises serious concerns about their food safety and quality control practices. It’s shocking and disappointing to experience such negligence from a place I’ve trusted for so long. I expected far better from Taj Bengal. We had ordered a 6 pound 3 KG Birthday cake with animal themes . for the First Birthday of my Granddaughters We had to collect the cake all the way from North Calcutta... earlier they used to deliver the cake at the venue. 2.The Fondants .in the form of several zoo animals.un edible ..tasteless....and each weighing 50/ 100 Gms or more ... so the actual cake was much less then 3 kgs....since the Fondants were not edible and were removed and thrown away yet l paid for a 6 pound cake but got only 5 lbs....or could be even less..many of the invitiees...could not be served the cake.....it was embarrassing for...

Today I went to La Patisserie of Taj Bengal and bought half a pound of Christmas plum cake out of sheer joy and nostalgia. On reaching home in about half an hour, when I tried it, I was really disappointed with the taste and quality. The cake was hard, tasted stale and I had to wait for a good 15 mins before the front desk lady staff who was disinterested as hell, handed me the cake though the shop was empty. It costed ₹1800 and the quality was way below my expectation. I have never had such an ordeal at the Taj bakery. I hope you do something about your quality of product and services which has become...
