Prabhuji Pure Food — Restaurant in Kolkata

This place is a trash!! I have never seen a Haldiram like this in my life. Spending money on keeping SRK as a brand ambassador is a waste unless you teach your ground ambassadors (restaurant staff) on soft skills and on how to speak with the customers. We went to this place for lunch with our 3 year old kid. We were carrying the baby food with us and started to feed her the home cooked food and was choosing our meal from the menu to order, but the billing person who also mentioned that he is the management does not know how to behave with the customers, he screamed on us as if we have committed a crime by feeding a 3 year old in this restaurant. We have been to many restaurants of different scale and stars but have never experienced this kind of behaviour. We have fed our child in Haldiram other outlets as well but never experienced this there as well. I don’t understand where he gets such audacity to speak with a patron like this. He was also shouting on other staffs in front of the customers which showcased that he is like this only. He is clearly tarnishing the image of this brand. Food was also not good, upon ordering the thandai and reaching the counter to collect it, we found that the person doesn’t have a clue on where to find it. I have never a naan that small in my entire life. I am being a regular customer of Haldiram in north India was shocked to see all of this. Prabhu ji is clearly doing injustice to the brand Haldiram. A traveller like me who is foodie & likes Haldiram visited her city of joy after 16yrs & ordered 1 plate Sambhar Vada on 21stApril 2022 in afternoon's lunch time at around 1-1:30p.m at Prabhuji's Barabazar Market outlet.After a delayed serving service I was surprised to see that there was only 1 vada in my bowl with lots of sambhar.So I asked the person who had served it that y there is only 1 vada & he nodding his head told me that only 1 vada is served in 1 plate from his counter.No matter I started eating as I was hungry & when lots of sambhar was still left I thought y waste it just like that as I'm jain so I stepped out of the table & went to the counter asking for 1 more vada & he said no u have pay extra for it & I started thinking 1 plate of sambhar Vada with 1 vada in it had already costed me Rs80.So much will this extra 1 cost!Luckily store manager was standing there & he said 2 vada is served in a plate.That's hw I got my 2nd piece.But I should have been served a whole new plate containing 2 sambhar vada's in it as my order was delayed & messed up.I did not create a fuzz a I had little time to board the train that day.So next time when I visit pls make sure to give me a 🆓 plate of the above order so that I can give u 5stars in...

Not reliable for huge orders for train delivery.

We students (around 40) were travelling from Guwahati to Raipur via Kolkata. We searched for restaurants were thaalis were available as parcel and after having a list of several restaurants, we called Haldirams because of the trust in their brand. I on behalf of my college went there and ordered for 30 thaalis and was waiting for packed thaalis. They told that they've free delivery available and they'll bring the packets to our train. They told to pay first and only then they'll proceed for preparation. I paid and wrote the time of departure and train number on the bill.

On the last 10 minutes of departure, we didn't got our order and so I called them and the phones were busy. We never got the order. After an hour, they received the call and said that they couldn't deliver the parcels because of traffic.

They don't have any sense of time and traffic in a city were they are serving for many years. If they couldn't deliver then they would've told me and I would have taken the parcels myself.

Very bad customer service and also not accepting the mistake....
